The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

Village Center Family Home - 30 min. from Lyon

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located home. Within a few minutes walking there is a supermarket, boulanger, butcher, 2 café restaurants, a Michelin stared restaurant, 2 specialty shops, flower shop, hairdresser, banks, tennis courts and a pharmacy. Great hiking in the hills and forest. Downtown Lyon is just 30 min. by car Beaujolais is also 30 min. away. The Gorges of Ardeche is 2 hours by car All the great ski resorts in the alps are 3 hrs by car

Renovated studio in the former Château des Tours

With its own terrace, it is away from the noise but close to everything, from Lyon (30 minutes by bus, stop 100 m away) as well as shops, restaurants and walks along the Saône. A quiet corner to rest and discover the charms of old Rochetaillée, close to the guinguettes and the Monts d'Or.
