Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Charlevoix County

This place was amazing! It was so wonderful to stay here, the room was so cute and it was right in the middle of Charlevoix. We could drive just a few minutes to go to the beach, to see the mushroom houses and to all the shops in town. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. There was so much effort and care put into the breakfast that they provide. There’s great communication and they are always asking if you need anything. My time here was so wonderful, I would definitely book a stay here again!

Our plans changed and needed a place for 1 night. I looked and found this gem! Great room and the most comfortable king bed we have slept on. The best was waking to the smell of something cinnamon. It was peaches cinnamon roll strudel that was perfect for the chilly morning and loved meeting and sharing coffee with a few of the other guests. We were able to walk down to beach and lighthouse. Beautiful Petoskey stone just waiting for us.

My husband and I love this place, and stay whenever we get the chance. This time, it was after 3 years of missing it!! We enjoyed ourselves, the privacy and seclusion this time of year. Stefan was so helpful and kind, and Liz was friendly and attentive. What more could you ask! Looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful B&B in the heart of downtown! Walking distance to the stores and the beach! Hostess was extremely accommodating! Definitely would stay here again.

Malcolm's place, was so charming, so comfortable and beautiful. The porch was wonderful to sit on and look at the water. Private beach and chairs made for a very relaxing stay. the hosts were awesome!

We had a wonderful time at the B&B, hosted by the awesome Jessica and Chris! They were very helpful and greeted us even with our late check-in. The inn is beautiful and made us feel like we wanted to live there. The room was cozy and very clean, with our own bathroom. Every evening we turned in the breakfast options and next morning they cooked delicious meals. Many options for coffee or tea, even to go. We didn't attend the complimentary wine tasting, we were too tired after full days of skiing at the Highlands. Btw, it's only 5 minutes to the resort, can't beat this! The service and the location, puts the inn on top of the list for next year.

The inn was very charming and lively, and one can appreciate the care that goes into giving each room a distinct personality. Joe was a gracious host and my stay was very pleasant. Lake Charlevoix is beautiful, as is the whole region. Highly recommend!

Great stay. Low-key and relaxed in a location that is an easy walk to everything.

I had an absolutely amazing time. Joseph is a gracious and wonderful host and the staff were very caring, impeccable service. As a new widow it was my first time traveling alone and i was nervous about it however i felt very safe here. Jiseph introduced me to some of his friends while listening to a great band that was playing. I enjoyed the hottub as well. Very peaceful. Breakfast was great, shower was hot and good pressure. Bed was comfortable. Everything was well worth it, i actually didnt have to leave the inn for my entire stay because they have everything on hand. Entertainment restaurant and the best biscuits and gravy and bacon ive had in YEARS <3 i will be back!

My husband and I were traveling through Michigan to see the fall foliage. We enjoy staying at Bed & Breakfasts so chose Sunflower Inn based on their website and reviews. Spent two nights in the Magnolia Room which had a comfy king bed, flat screen tv and a private bathroom with all the amenities. Coffee/tea plus a little tray of cookies available all day. Even a mini-frig for guests. Breakfast was made to order. Omelets or waffles, fruit, bacon, toast coffee/OJ. Perfect location with a 10-15 minute walk downtown. John and Lydia are gracious host. We enjoy hiking outdoors and John gave us some ideas. He even drew us a map. Enjoyed our conversations with them. Felt very comfortable in their home. It's a great place to stay in Charlevoix!

Cool spot to stay. Joseph and his crew were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Good ambiance. There’s a bar downstairs if you want a drink and to hang out. The only drawback was sharing bathrooms with the rest of the guests, but there are several bathrooms, so it’s not a real big deal. I’d recommend the spot, and you’re right in East Jordan by Lake Charlevoix.
