Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Charleville-Mézières

Beautiful, large house! Quiet and very centrally located, walking and cycling from the house. 2 spacious terraces. Clean kitchen and bathroom, 2 bedrooms with good beds and plenty of storage space. Big plus is the second toilet upstairs! We had a very nice stay at David's house and our dog was also very welcome!

ideal place for lovers as well as families, everything you need for babies and children is available (toys, changing table, high chair, folding crib, bathtub for children, plate, cutlery, etc.) everything was very well thought out, including the fireplace Juliette is very attentive and listens to needs pleasantly surprised by the baker's visit for morning bread we also met the caretaker who is very friendly I would 100% recommend Juliette's place

Accommodation that matches the description, the interior spaces are really great. Patricia and Pascal welcomed us warmly. We were 2 couples with 2 small children, the baby and child equipment was really complete and excellent, a real plus for people who want to stay there with their family. No complaints, everything was perfect, we would recommend it without hesitation :-)

We have enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location with 2 small children. Really everything is present and the garden with play tower was great. The grandparents and aunts also came to visit, plenty of room to receive visitors and let them stay overnight. Very nice and quick contact with the hosts via the app and otherwise they leave you alone. The cottage is definitely worth the money. For excursions in the area, you have to drive a little bit, but within a radius of 20 minutes, you can find everything you need. We definitely recommend this to friends and family and will come back again.

I had a wonderful 4-week stay at Dorothee's place. It is a cozy home, in a very quiet area. Very well equipped, everything that you might need for extended stays. Great internet too with a nice desk, so very suitable if you also need to work from time-to-time. It's located in a lovely area in the French Ardennes. A great place to visit if you're in to cycling or longs walks/hiking. Highly, highly recommended!

In one word: great! We had a fantastic stay in this cottage with a group of 9 people. Everything was taken care of to the last detail and everything has really been thought of. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and fully equipped. From the kitchen to the bedrooms – we lacked nothing. Communication with the host was flawless and friendly. As far as we are concerned, this is an absolute must for those looking for comfort, tranquility and coziness with a larger group. As a small improvement (and really the only one we could think of): a towel radiator in the bathroom would complete the stay. We will definitely go back next year

Johann lives close to the house, which makes it easy to arrive on site. The house he offers has beautiful volumes. The balcony is well exposed, well-equipped and has a nice surface, which is a plus. The surrounding nature is a treat for hikers and cyclists. The local heritage offers curious minds many tours. Our stay delighted my family who discovered the green setting and the richness of the historical heritage offered by the Ardennes. And again, a big thank you to Yohann for the birthday cake that was a treat for everyone.

we stayed in Roxane's house for three nights, we had the floor with terrace and garden. What a lovely French house, nicely decorated with vintage furniture. A full kitchen and great shower and nice bed. Everything super clean! Roxane is a hospitable lady, who welcomes you and has nice tips in the area. The village itself has a good bakery and supermarket. Nothing else to experience. Sedan market on Saturday and the old lock 20 min. away by car.

It’s a lovely, bright, comfortable, charming, and very clean studio apartment right next to the train station, about 10 minutes walk to the grocery store and lovely town square. Great bed. Flawless, fast internet. The host was very responsive to my communications. Charleville-Mézières is also a surprisingly lovely and charming town in the Ardennes Forest with a verdant river & lots of walking trails. I spent a month here as a base for trips to Belgium and Germany and Lille. They clean the place once a week and left some great food when I arrived. However, the chair next to the desk is uncomfortable to sit in and work in all day. Also, twice when I was cooking with both burners, the circuit was blown and I had to open the electrical panel to turn on the power again. So you should cook using only one burner at a time. Finally, you can hear the train station announcements all day long, but they aren’t too loud and I didn’t mind. It’s silent at night. Overall I was very happy here.

Absolutely stunning location. I couldn’t recommend the beautiful picturesque town enough. Jean’s apartment was extremely clean. You will be more than comfortable if you have a vehicle. However, if staying earlier in the week keep in mind most restaurants/food options are closed either early or not open at all. We were lucky enough to come right before peak season and the weather was still incredible. We wish it wasn’t just an overnight stop. We would definitely go back!

Too much is too much...but when it's true...! Aged, despite us, the accommodation is perfect. Ideal location, in the historic city center, impeccably like home, basic shops at the door for a short or medium stay for reduced strides, multi-solution parking for a vehicle. And then the Ardennes! as soon as you cross the towns or villages. This first Airbnb contact is a success. Recognition.

We had a great time at Lousiana Heritage. We were 12 adults and 8 children and the accommodation was impeccable: very clean, well-appointed, with beautiful spaces both for conviviality and to preserve privacy. The bedding is comfortable, towels are provided, and no complaints about the cleanliness! A big thank you to Sylvie's mom for her warm welcome and kindness. We also really appreciated Sylvie's flexibility with check-in and check-out times, it was really a plus. Too bad the weather wasn't there, because the outdoors really make you want to enjoy it. We recommend without hesitation and will be back with pleasure!

We stayed with a group of 14 people for a wonderful long weekend in this house. In reality, it is a bit more spacious than the photos already suggest. The house is spacious, plenty of bedrooms, beds, (note!! bring your own bedding, read the instructions carefully) and a very friendly and helpful host Johnny. In short, if you are looking for a nice house with the family or some friends in a quiet beautiful area, with a play area equipped with billiards, darts, jukebox and karaoke (really fantastic) then you have come to the right place!!

We had a lovely time with the family at Alexis's manor. Jonas was a lovely and thoughtful host. The road in front is not a problem in terms of noise, like the supermarkets around. It was a bit of a fear of mine but that wasn't the case and the Carrefour behind the fence proved very useful many times! The bedding was also very good, note that you need to arrive with your bed and shower linens. In short, a place to recommend if you are a large group. The only small plus would be a toilet on the ground floor (toilets in each bedroom), but hey, that's it. Thank you so much Jonas for sharing this! Kind regards

We stayed over Christmas with our young children. The apartment is well located and easy to find. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and had everything we needed. We appreciated the Christmas decorations that had been put up around the house to make it feel homely. Would definitely stay again.

As listed, great amenities and beautiful area

We were 6 families sharing the space and the different rest areas were particularly pleasant. The huge, slightly wild garden is quite unexpected and very well located. The only small regret is the information about sorting garbage that is not displayed in the premises.
