Fabulous place to stay :)

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

Villa Pantelis is a beautiful house in the village of Eleftherna. It is located on high ground and the views in all directions are special - most of all the view all the way to the Mediterranean sea! The house has lovely flower gardens and a quiet terrace for every time of the day and all weathers. The Swimmingpool is beautifully clean and refreshing on a hot day - plenty of lounging furniture for all. The local swallows try their best to keep it free from insects when flying closely over the water. Maria and Tasos greeted us with their own honey, wine and Raki as well as lots of fresh fruit. Maria came every morning, watering her flowers, cleaning the terraces if needed and making sure we had everything we needed, they really looked after us! We had a lovely meal at the taverna in Eleftherna - delicious, healthy and not expensive. We visited Rethymno, ca 30 min drive, arkadi monastery, ca 15 min drive, the archeological museum of Eleftherna, 20 min walk. A perfect holiday!!

Adamantios is a wonderful host. The villa is beautiful and exactly as described in the photos. We were made to feel welcome straight away woth homemade cake and olive oil as well as other bits. Adamantios was quick to respond to any questions we had and jumped to our rescue when our rental car battery died! The villa is t really walking distance to anywhere so my top recommendation would be to get a rental car with good AC! There are very few places around the area to park in the shade so if you have rubbish AC like we did, the journeys can be stressful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of space from the business of local areas and wanting to switch off at the gorgeous pool!

Like the photos shown in the listing, it's a very beautiful house equipped with a pool and a beautiful sea view. We had a great vacation in this house. The host's response and reaction are quick and really convenient. On the third day, we accidentally locked ourselves out at 11:00 p.m. and left our keys inside the house. Richard responded quickly and helped us find a locksmith to open the door for us. We sincerely appreciate Richard's help. Whether it's the material conditions of the house or the host's service, I highly recommend staying in this villa when you go on vacation in Crete.

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa - it was the perfect place for our family trip and we felt instantly at home. The villa is in a stunning location, with incredible sea views. It has all of the amenities you could need. Stamatis was an excellent, communicative host and helped us with great local recommendations. We will be back!

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!

We only have positive things to say about our stay at this Villa! Manolis and Zania were extremely friendly, helpful and were gracious enough to greet us upon arrival. They even filled the refrigerator with groceries for us. Everything was as advertised on the website . We loved swimming in the pool, played ping-pong and basketball almost every day . Each room had one large TV, a comfortable bed, fresh clean linens and large windows with a view of the beautiful yard. We also loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. Everything was also within proximity; from beaches to Rethymno city centre, supermarkets and local taverns . We would highly recommend this Airbnb to any large group of people staying in Crete. This definitely won’t be the last time we stay at this villa. Thanks again Manoli and Zania for making our vacation unforgettable. Till next time!

Great stay in a quiet and sublime space. The property is impeccable, with excellent service by the owner who welcomed us with open arms with a service that allowed us to arrive without having to do any shopping before arriving. Always helpful and attentive to tenants, who directly told us about the activities and businesses in the area. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend it.

The villa owners and Etouri team redefined what it means to be a host. We were blown away by how they went above and beyond in so many ways, from surprising us with a traditional Greek dish on arrival and gifting us various fruits, olive oil and tea, to organising a delicious freshly made birthday cake and candles for my Mum’s big day. Chrysoula from Etouri also deserves her own shout out. She helped me track down some tofu (I’m vegetarian) as they don’t sell it in many local supermarkets, and even dropped off her own personal training weights for my sister, who was looking for a nearby gym to keep training while on holiday. We truly felt so welcome and celebrated. It felt as if we were relatives who had returned home after a long time being away. We could tell just how much joy the owners get from treating their guests well. To them, we weren’t just guests. We were family. It was beautiful to witness from start to finish. I highly recommend booking.

Super sweet people. Everything was well arranged. Despite the sandstorm, they really gave top service. We even got pizza as an apology while they couldn't do anything about it. Very sweet. Definitely a villa to go to once.

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the amenities! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location with no insight. Lovely patio with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. Was received in person in the house at the appointed time and was given a tour of the house and all the features as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wanted was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

We had a lovely stay at Nikos's. The house is superb, the services (quality of furniture, bedding, towels etc.) are worthy of a grand hotel. Everything is thought out for a pleasant stay. Nikos and his family are very welcoming and available. We thank him for all his attention when we arrived.

This was our best stay ever with airbnb, and the most beautiful in Greece. The house exceeded our expectations. The locations is awesome. The house is comfortable, spacious, modern, spotless and beautiful. The open views to the ocean are breathtaking in addition to being high above in the mountains. He outdoor terraces aremazibgand the pool iswesome withazing views. This house can easily accomodate 6 persons. Parking is easy for two cars. The place feels secure and very private. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Located between Rethymo and Chania we felt the location was perfect. We lived every detail provided to us. The hosts were great communicating with us, greeting us and providing all kinds of reccomendations to us. They greeted us with some very nice presents, foid and wine. If you plan to visit Crete this is the pkace to be. If you want an unforgetable stay this is the place to be! We lived every minute of our stay and there are not enough words to Thank our hosts!

The Villa is absolutely stunning it had everything you could possibly want, very clean and spacious with all quality modern fixtures and fittings throughout. My children especially loved the pool and hot tub which were cleaned throughout the week. The area was nice and peaceful very close to the beach, had restaurants and a super market within walking distance. About a 10 minute cab ride to plenty more bars and restaurants. The host was lovely very welcoming, she was there to meet us on arrival, was very approachable always contactable and very knowledgeable about the local area. The host couldn’t do enough for you even stocking the fridge with some essential groceries which I thought was very nice touch. Even brought us a handmade gift when we were leaving which was so thoughtful. Would definitely use this Villa again and would recommend to anyone.
