Nice and clean place to stay.

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful renovated farmhouse, so peaceful, loved the pool. Anita and Simon brought over croissants one morning, a lovely touch. They give you full access to the property. I would highly recommend.

The location of the house is perfect, just one minute walk to the bridge from where you can enjoy the best view of Cognac. The house owner is also very nice and patient.

Had a wonderful stay, Nick and his wife are great hosts, with a wonderful 15th century building in which we stayed. Easy to walk into confolens, from apartment We hired a car, in which we was able to explore all surrounding areas, also supermarkets within 3 mins drive Great out door space, with seating area, plus garden to explore with chickens Thanks for a pleasant stay and your information on the area Would definitely book again 🙂

We had a fantastic family stay at Sylvie's house, a real haven of peace on the farm and with stunning views of Lake Lavaud. It's hard to imagine a better welcome than the one Sylvie and her family gave us, who were particularly available to help us and allowed us to make the most of the area. Special mention for horses that evolve right next door to the house and ensure the wonder of the little city dwellers! We recommend it in full. Thank you again for everything and see you soon!

The house is ideally located near Brantôme en Périgord, and many villages, castles, markets, to see or do all around, less than 1/2 hour. The discovery of the 2 houses, at the end of the path is magical: beautiful stones, beautiful building perspectives, charming small stairs to the Dronne, superb covered terrace to enjoy life at all times of the day. We were won over, and had a lovely Ascension weekend with the family, with the sun and the heat that allowed us to enjoy the pool with great pleasure (always in the sun). It's a very nice place to meet with friends, there's room, you feel good there.

We had a great time in Mark's place, a peaceful and quiet place where we were able to recharge. There is everything you need in the mill, we enjoyed the office full of flyers on things to do nearby. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a fabulous romantic stay in this beautiful estate. Mariel's loft is very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable! The living room is very spacious, well laid out with an extremely well-equipped open kitchen. The house and outdoor spaces are beautiful, the view of the Charente is magical. We just had to enjoy the place, between walks along the Charente and rest by the pretty fireplace. Mariel is a charming host, full of nice touches: candles on arrival, bread-beurre-confiture available for breakfast, good places... We warmly recommend this very nice address!

From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.
