We had a great time in this beautiful house, located in the countryside, in a totally isolated environment, with no neighbors. The location, in the heart of the fields, offers absolute calm, conducive to relaxation. The house is very nice, beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped and remarkably cool in summer, which is particularly nice. The pool is spacious, well equipped and has all the amenities you need to enjoy it. Special mention for the summer kitchen, very functional and friendly, which greatly contributed to the success of our stay. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for peace, comfort and a change of scenery.

Seven adults and two small children enjoyed Gwen’s property. We all had a super time, everything was as described, clean, and worked. It felt like considerable effort had gone into anticipating the clients needs & these were more than met, which doesn’t happen often. We would highly recommend Gwen’s property, we had no issues, loved the pool & the view was spectacular. We had a great, relaxing family holiday.

Family weekend for the May Day holiday, a few minutes from Périgueux. Ideal! We were able to enjoy the pool and the house is really very welcoming. I highly recommend this little gem, which is not overlooked and has a great view. Air conditioning is the perfect little extra.

Beautiful house in fantastic surroundings. Great walks amongst the vineyards. House really clean with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Ashley responded immediately to one small problem with hot water which was rectified within a few hours. Would love to stay again.

Our stay at Robert and Karen's place was great! The house is spacious and offers enough space and private for 6 people. The pool is a lovely cooling. If you choose peace and quiet, this is what you are looking for. Robert and Karen, thank you for your hospitality, the fresh eggs were delicious!

Beautiful house, with great facilities. Lots of space for guests and a bathroom for each bedroom which was good. The kitchen was well equipped. There was air conditioning in the main rooms as well which was an unexpected treat as the weather was very warm. Lovely outside area with good sized pool, plenty of sun loungers and tables. Would definitely recommend the property.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend for those in search of a very peaceful retreat! The property is full of character and the renovations completed by Thierry and Benedicte preserve the history of this amazing chateau.

Lynn and Paul are the best!! We had lots of fun playing soccer under the sequoia, swimming in the pool and drinking the fine rose wine of the area!! I’d go back TOMORROW!!

We had a fantastic holiday with our family, the house is lovely and the outside areas in particular were wonderful and the garden is completely fenced in so perfect for young children or in our case our labradoodle! The village is stunning with all the essentials along with galleries, great bars and restaurants. Canoeing is within easy walking distance and there are some great walks right from the house. Wish we could have stayed longer!

All I can say is our stay in Jonzac at Anders house was perfect from start to finish. Anders was the perfect host and the house was absolutely perfect. We are a family of 4 and our two children loved the garden and especially the pool. Jonzac and the surrounding countryside is the perfect getaway. All the photos are accurate and in fact do the house an injustice. It is stunning. If we are ever back in this part of France we feel that this location and house is just ideal. The overall experience was perfect. Thanks Anders

Beautiful and tranquil air bnb, a perfect combo of old and new. We loved our stay and our host Sally was very helpful and accommodating. There were lots of really nice small touches, dressing gowns, beautiful hand and body soaps, welcome hamper etc. The area is so gorgeous and the villa is really private! Will stay there again for sure, highly recommend

We had a pleasant family vacation at this place. The large pool is appreciated. There are many spaces where everyone can find some isolation if needed. Large garden for children, trampoline. Canoe rides nearby.

Anne's place was impressive due to the size of her property and the rooms available. Located in a very quiet living environment, we were able to enjoy a friendly moment with friends in peace. The instructions for getting inside were clear, and Anne remained available for our questions. A very good experience. Recommended

The farmhouse is huge, beautiful and located in a massive garden. The house is old and might need some work, but we loved all the charm. We rented the house with 3 families (11 persons in total) and each family had it's own section of the house with private bathroom. We spend most of our days in the garden with big family dinners between the pine trees or at the pool (make sure to ask where they store the outdoor furniture). The pool is well taken care of on a daily basis. Lots of amenities, like 2 fridges, 2 dish washers, 2 coffee machines (Nespresso and filter). In the area there are small towns with bakeries, supermarkets and a wine store, but you can also buy froie gras and truffles directly from local farms. We had a wonderful time and made great memories.

Very good stay in this beautiful and AUTHENTIC family home with undeniable charm. We were 4 adults and 2 children 3/4 years old: the children loved playing in the sandpit/bocce court in the garden and the educational farm nearby, we adults we loved the large friendly kitchen and the masterful bathroom with views of the countryside. Small bonus for dishes: what a pleasure to eat on cute vintage plates! The house is very old, so it was a little wet when we arrived (no surprise given the season) but once the fireplace started and the house ventilated, everything was normal.
