Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Chamula

The pictures don’t do this place justice; it is absolutely gorgeous, stunning, and beautiful. The textures, architecture, furniture, and built-ins are exceptionally complementary. The outside also gives off great vibes. The host was wonderful and communicated well, providing me with everything I needed and more. I am so grateful for this experience, and anyone who stays there will love it. In a word wonderful!

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, but there are small stores, coffee shops, and place to buy bread and fresh fruits and vegetables near by. The apartment is bright, has a small portable heater and fireplace, though heat is rarely needed. There is a shared washer and dryer, and a small patio where one can sit in the sun. if you need anything, Marcos responds immediately (he's bilingual, helpful, and solves any problem quickly). He's a great guy. Cata, the maid, does an excellent job keeping the apartment clean, linens changed, everything in order. Juan, the gardener keeps the grounds looking fine, and he can help if you need firewood or want to see what's growing in the garden. There are a few steep stairs in the apartment, so someone with mobility issues might have an issue, but the place and staff are the best you will find in San Cristobal. if you get hungry, walk to La Cocina for dinner, or Madonna Mia Pizza, or our favorite breakfast spot, Sweetbeat.

Todo muy bonito. Limpio, con bonita vista, muy bien equipado, cochera. Volveríamos sin pensarlo. Espero siga siendo un lugar ameno y limpio y que los usuarios cuiden y hagan buen uso de las instalaciones para conservar el lugar bonito tal cual está.

This was my second time staying at Daniel's, and both times I loved it. The apartments are beautiful, the details in the architecture and design are lovely, and we enjoyed the fireplace on a cool night. I really like the location, it's in my favorite neighborhood - bario Gudalupe - not far from the church - and about a 20 minute walk to the centro. The collectivo goes right by the front door and is a wonderful way to get to our favorite coffee shop (Frontera), as well as downtown, for only 10 pesos. The courtyard is beautiful, and I love the skylights in the upstairs apartment - it lets in beautiful light in the morning. In the past, I have rented apartment 6 for my husband and I, this year I was with a friend and we rented 5 & 6. It was nice to be close to each other yet have our own space, perfect for a family, friends, or even two couples. I highly recommend staying in Daniel's compound, a peaceful and beautiful oasis from the chaos of town center.

We stayed here for two months, April and May. The best thing about this apartment is the beautiful view of San Cristobal and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. The wonderful host, Luis, who lives on the premises, was educated and well-traveled, and we enjoyed talking with him about the different places we had both been in the world. He was also always immediately responsive to any issues we might have. We have lived all over the world since leaving the US 20 months ago, and the kitchen was quite large and, hands down, the best we have had anywhere. Also, we thought the beds were very comfortable. And the property also has its own washer and dryer. The house is divided into several Airbnb rentals. It is pretty walkable to El Centro and the Guadalupe Walking Street—about a 15 to 20-minute walk. In addition, there are restaurants, shops, a pharmacy and an OXXO close by. The park is about a half-block away, and it is easy and inexpensive to get a taxi from there to anywhere in San Cristobal. The downside would be the same as everywhere in Mexico that we have been—noise, although the internet (usually a problem) was actually pretty good here, and compared to other places we have been in Mexico, we really couldn’t complain much. The street has a fair amount of traffic, but we didn’t hear a lot of dogs barking, which is usually a big problem for us in Mexico; however, we did hear firecrackers—sometimes because of people celebrating a particular holiday. We never felt unsafe, especially walking at night, but we always stayed on the main streets in the main areas.

Great place with garden and three beautiful dogs.

Each space in the house was carefully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. It offers multiple nooks to get quiet rest and others to gather as a group. The coffe and Mexican pastries each morning were amazing! Every detail has been considered with our comfort in mind. We loved that the house is on a quiet street, yet within a short walk of great restaurants and cute shops. We will definitely return with friends and family. Our host helped us to arrange dinner reservations and day trips with a driver and top of the line van. This made our trip easy and all we did was enjoy ourselves.

This is a beautiful and calm place to stay within 10 minutes of the historic center of San Cristobal. Lovely house and yard, great kitchen, lots of light and comfortable beds. If you want to have a respite from city life this is a great place to stay. Zinzi and Edward are super responsive and helpful hosts.

El lugar muy bonito, cómodo, más si viajas en familia, fácil de ubicar y tiene muchas cosas cerca, desde los andadores donde hay restaurantes, cafeterías, locales de ropa, también están los museos, iglesias, mercados para comprar frutas y verduras frescas. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y cálidas, el espacio en general muy limpio.

Fantastisch huis, met veel smaak en zorg ingericht, op een toplocatie, op loopafstand van het centrum. De tuin was een geweldig surplus, heel beschut en privé, met overal plekjes om te zitten. Verder waren er meerdere open haarden waardoor we het ‘s avonds heerlijk warm konden stoken. Aanrader!

El sueño de una familia en tener una casa en la montaña hecho realidad, bellísima casa con espacios acogedores. Cada habitación decorada y ambientada con exclusivo detalle. Pensada para que al llegar te centres en disfrutar al ver su decoración, camas reconfortantes, baños y cocinas impecables. Despertar con la luz del día de su tragaluz, las hermosas vistas desde las ventanas de las recámaras es algo que hace que te relajes y no quieras salir. Las áreas del comedor y patio son grandes, iluminadas, bonitas y cómodas. Y cuando pensaste que no podía mejorar, aparece el jardín, un área que te atrapa en cuanto comienzas a observar con atención el excelente trato y relación que tienen con la naturaleza. Inmensos árboles, césped súper cuidado, el olor a lavanda por la mañana, es lo que mi familia y yo nos llevamos de recuerdo. Disfrutar una taza de café y caminar por ese inmenso y maravilloso jardín es algo que haremos muy pronto. Si o si seremos clientes frecuentes de esta hermosa casa.

Una de las mejores estancias, en las que he estado, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas, el lugar excelente, amplio y la anfitriona de lo mejor, siempre respondia los mensajes

Excelente ubicación cerca de la plaza principal, comercio, restaurantes , y lugares de interés, lugar limpio y ordenado, buena atención departe de los anfitriones, me volvería hospedar nuevamente sin dudarlo.

Notre séjour s’est super bien passé, les hôtes étaient très accueillant, adorables et très bien organisés. Ils nous ont mis à disposition une baignoire pour notre bébé et du chauffage. La maison était très moderne et ne manquait de rien. Le parking était très pratique. Merci pour tout et bonne continuation.
