In Poligny, capital of the Comté gruyère, in a century-old family house, initially ripening cellar, in a vast wooded park, flat on one level, very well oriented ,fresh without air conditioning even during heat waves, with terrace, barbecue, private parking. 1 double bed in the bedroom, sleeping for a young child in the living room on the couch ,not convertible. Possibility of 3 rd adult bed on request. All shops within 5 min walk, nearby municipal swimming pool.

A great base to shine in the Jura, visit the charming villages, the salt pans, the county house, the many fruit trees, lakes and other waterfalls... all within a radius of less than an hour. There is something for everyone with many restaurants, going from pure local to gastro Michelin-starred. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped (special mention in the kitchen). The view is just sumptuous! What a pleasure every night to dine on the terrace enjoying the sunset. You can't get tired of it! The heated pool is a must. Its size will delight both those who want to play and those who want to swim. Finally, Nathalie and her husband are attentive hosts with good information (who facilitate access), good recommendations and with whom it was particularly easy to communicate.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is hard to beat, being only steps from the main square. Normally we would expect a loud street for being so close to the main square, but it was quiet and private. Pascal was very responsive throughout our stay, and the home was comfortable and peaceful. Poligny is a beautiful town with friendly people, we would absolutely stay at Pascal’s again.

Nice gite, and very spacious. Near centre of poligny ( walking distance), not a lot of restaurants and cafe’s but a couple of good and nice places. Cooking facilities are good so you can also stock good cheese, beef and vegetables at the locale shops and traiteurs/ fromageries. Nice area with good walking opportunities.

We had a lovely weekend in the Jura. Cozy accommodation, perfect for two people. Very good location. Perfect for a change of scenery for an extended weekend. The village is very quiet, great for relaxing... i recommend it!
