Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chambonas

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Our short stay in Cévenol went perfectly well from our arrival to our departure. Many outdoor and sports activities are close to the cottage. The fact that there is no TV allowed our two teenagers to disconnect and we were able to enjoy family board games evenings (games available in the gite). The cottage is very well-equipped, cozy...it feels like home! Thanks to Mathilde for hosting us.

We had a great weekend at your home. A peaceful little haven, where time flows to the rhythm of the surrounding nature! The cottage is mainly made of wood, which gives it incredible charm! We bathe in the Gardon river, located just a few kilometers from the cottage, where many spots are available! this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

Recipe for a happy time: Book this cottage for at least a week. Dive into the book and DVD collection and go to the Tuesday market in Villefort and the Saturday market in Les Vans (!). Cook with the delicious local products in this super cozy kitchen. Enjoy the tranquility and take a walk along the river, you should not go far to be able to enjoy the overwhelming nature. Long walks are optional, and if you burn the fireplace out of season and enjoy the crackling fire, the idyll is complete.

We had a wonderful time at the little house. Célia did a great job renovating the house perfectly and keeping the authentic style. Such a great place to stay in the Cevennes. Especially the rooftop-place was breathtaking. Looking forward to coming back one day! Thanks a lot!

Shirley's apartment was perfect for the four of us with a dog to enjoy the fantastic Labeaume and the great area for a week. The attractively and practically furnished apartment and especially the terrace were even a little more spacious than expected and pleasantly bright through the window front and skylight. For us it was no problem, but less mobile or particularly noise-sensitive people should note that the apartment is located at the back of the village square with a (very cozy) bar and is accessible on the second floor via two external stairs. Shirley was a perfect host, she was always helpful, flexible and easy to reach when needed. 100% recommendation!

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippe's apartment in transit. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We (Ellen and Hans) are retired and stayed here for a month to avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life It turned out to be a beautiful location and exactly as indicated in the listing. Far from the inhabited world so groceries etc. you had to plan. But peace in abundance. Great host Kris and Greta, were there if you needed them but never intrusive. After a month the feeling of having a bunch of friends with it. Also have a sweet “social ” dog. Our dog Beer clearly had a friend at Loulotje's

We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Charming cozy cottage tastefully furnished, very well equipped, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding. Perfect set-up for couple. The hosts are warm, the hospitality and responsiveness are impeccable and good recommendations. Very well located, it is both easy to reach Bagnols for shops while being surrounded by nature with lots of possible hikes nearby and beautiful sites to visit. Big plus for the stove with the wood provided, the flames are comforting in the cold season. We had a great time between beautiful hikes and rest by the fire.

Florian's accommodation met our expectations in every way. It allowed us to experience a beautiful break and create beautiful memories with family and friends. We really enjoyed the natural setting, the garden, the spacious house, which allows you to both experience friendly moments and isolate yourself if necessary. Both children and teenagers quickly took ownership of the space and enjoyed the outdoors as well as the upstairs game room, which includes toys, board games and a library stocked for all types of readers. The rooms are nice, at a distance from each other, which allows the early risers not to disturb the others! The house is nice, clean and tidy, you immediately feel very good there. The old stone keeps it cool, which is very nice! We are delighted with our stay at Florian's, whom we thank for hosting us and for his availability and will happily come back!!

Beautiful place. Very authentic, decorated with great taste. Great for a large family or families. It was our first time in the region, and I wish I had researched it a bit more before going because you have to know where to go. Some villages and places are stunning, and some other areas you have to avoid. Overall I would really recommend.

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. Dear Laure and Benoït, Thank you for the super nice week we were allowed to spend in your holiday home!

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very village-like but well suited as a starting point for excursions. The tips and advice from Fabrice were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and it has everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

We had a great weekend at the Mas du Talon, the setting is beautiful, the place is very soothing. The villa is super well-equipped. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again for the quality of the hospitality.

a wonderful weekend for 8 adults, time for annual reunions. A very beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the lavender fields. It all starts with a warm welcome from the owners (who live on site but are very discreet!). A beautiful and very well-equipped house, both inside and outside! An incredible swimming pool and petanque molky volleyball activities that allow you to stay all weekend in the middle of the greenery. Very good memories, thank you to Myriam and Pascal!

a place to discover absolutely, a river two steps away, very nice house, tastefully furnished, very nice garden, very nice pool, beautiful super practical kitchen, top coffee machine...As for the hosts, Christine and Pierre, adorable, very flexible on schedules depending on what's possible, we were 7 friends on a long weekend, delighted to have been able to settle in a little before the time and leave a little after...can't wait to go back!!!
