Villa Menelaos Penthouse

Absolutely fantastic, five stars quite honestly isn’t enough for Menelaos and his beautiful penthouse villa. The villa is perfectly located….it really couldn’t be closer to the sea, with unique views of Mochlos, the island and the coasts to the east and west. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay, and the balcony is just perfect….the hardest thing was to drag ourselves away from it! Most importantly Menelaos is an absolutely perfect host, we’ve never had a welcome like it and we immediately felt at home, Menelaos is a true gentleman. We’re lucky to spend quite a bit of time in Crete and will definitely return to Menelaos Penthouse Villa….in fact I’m already planning our next visit!

Those who like to stay in a beautiful authentic mountain village, staying in a spacious apartment can't be better than here. Everything is present in the apartment and it is perfectly clean. The surroundings are also beautiful for hiking.y Dimitrios always responds directly, so when you arrive in the village, he comes immediately to guide you to his apartment. Thank you! Me and my family had a wonderful time at Maria’s. The private balcony was amazing. Maria was a wonderful host providing us with lots of snacks and was very communicative. This is a great stay for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Nikolaus' house. The place was amazing, it felt full of history. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom had a lovely view out towards the mountains. The setting was so peaceful and away from all the tourist hotspots, but easy to get everywhere too. Nikolaos was a greast host - we arrived at 1am because of a delayed flight and he was up to meet us at the door. We also accidently locked ourselves out while sitting out on the beautiful terrace and he kindly arranged for us to be let back in again! Would definitely come back and would reccomend to anyone.

It is located in the beautiful village of Hamezi, a place that looks like it has come out of postcards, just five minutes from the town of Sitia. The house manages to seamlessly combine the charm of tradition with the comfort of modern, offering an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the very first moment. It is equipped with everything a family might need, from modern electronics to small details that make a difference. Particularly impressive was the attention paid to every detail, with the fridge filled with fresh local products, a kind move from the host who made us feel immediately welcomed. This home isn't just a place to stay-it's an experience you don't want it to end. We're sure we'll choose it again at the first opportunity!
