Villa vacation rentals in Chalikounas

A wonderful, private, spacious villa in the centre of Paxos. Maganzia was walkable for restaurants, baker, supermarket and coffee. A couple of other restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed several walks from the villa as well as the short drive to the port for a hill free walk if needed. Andreas was a great host, showing us the way and introducing the villa. Our pool was cleaned regularly, our cleaner visited far more often than we expected which was great. Kitchen is good for basic cooking (breakfast). A proper BBQ would have been a bonus but that did not spoil our time we will certainly visit Paxos and this villa again.

Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Ollivum verbracht. Wir genossen die ruhige Lage mit Blick aufs Meer ebenso wie den privaten Pool sowie die großzügige Räume der Villa. Die Nähe zum Strand waren ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Die Gastgebenden waren äußerst freundlich, empfangen uns mit leckerem Essen und verabschiedeten uns mit dem wunderbar leckeren Olivenöl 🥰 Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und empfehlen das Haus jedem, der/die gerne eine schöne Zeit in einer ruhigen Ecke von Korfu haben möchten.

Villa Fioraki was a gorgeous spot to spend a few days with friends. The pool and outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and caters for a large group well. The location is slightly remote so make sure you have considered transport options and consider the cost of taxis in your trip planning if not planning to hire a car. Amazing host, very responsive and helpful, would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Corfu getaway!

My family of two adults and two teens stayed at Dinos’ place for just over a week at the end of May. Dinos was friendly and helpful, showing us around the house and providing lots of local recommendations. The house was clean and comfortable with enough space for the 4 of us and our belongings. Some supplies were provided, like towels, bedding, washing up liquid and soap, and we bought other things (bin bags, loo roll, shampoo) from the local shops which were a few minutes walk away. The house is very close to the peaceful beach, the walk to it is short but steep. It is also close to 2 lovely bakeries and little super markets although there is no pavement and the road is reasonably busy and fast. The view from the house is fantastic. The pool was private, clean and deep, there is no shallow end. We hired a car from Corfu town and drove to the house. It has its own parking space at the bottom of 55 steps. The only downside of the convenient road links was the associated road noise.

Such a wonderful holiday. Great views. Perfect location. Fantastic host. Very comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Pool warm, sun beds comfy. Close to beaches. 100% brilliant.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bavaria. Hubert made us feel right at home, meeting us in the village & showing us the best way to the home for our arrival. He generously gifted us some delicious homemade red wine & olive oil, and gave us plenty of local recommendations (you have to try the Crabs tavern, it was our favorite). We spent the next few days nestled in the olive groves below Perdika, soaking in the sea view & the sun, occasionally cooling off in the private pool. Everything was comfortable & in good working order, we'd love to stay there again!

Christo a été un hôte parfait : il a été extrêmement proactif lors de notre arrivée puisqu’il est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport pour nous guider jusqu’à la villa où il nous avait laissé un panier repas en guise de cadeau de bienvenue. Il a toujours été extrêmement réactif au moindre souci que nous avons pu rencontrer, nous a fait des recommandations d’activité ou de restaurant tout à long du séjour… S’agissant de la villa, elle a satisfait à toutes nos demandes et même au delà : spacieuse et décorée avec gout, la piscine était extrêmement belle, les chambres bien rangées, les salles de bain et la cuisine très propres… La vue était imprenable, l’endroit était calme et paisible, tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent moment sans déranger le voisinage qui est pratiquement inexistant. Je recommande donc largement de séjourner dans cette villa où tout autre logement qui serait géré par cet hôte. Encore merci pour tout Christo, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable grâce à toi !

Logement fidèle aux photos, heure d’arrivée et de départ flexible, parfait pour des journées off, logement excentré donc super pour avoir le calme mais nécessite de prendre la voiture pour aller chercher de quoi manger, merci petter !

This was a dream vacation, ever since my daughter and I watched the BBC series about the Durrells in Corfu. The Villa was gorgeous, huge and very comfortable for our family of 4. Having the 2.5 bathrooms was great. The views were insane, pictures cannot do it justice. I recommend renting an automatic car. The climb to the house is very steep and you may need to back up and pull over to let other cars by. Hans was an amazing host, extremely responsive, full of recommendations, and after we arrived, sent over a delivery of snacks and drinks after letting us check in early. We ordered pastries from the local bakery for delivery, loved the local Nissaki beach for morning swims, ate at the White House, Igera, Vitamins, took a private boat to Paxos and the blue caves, visited Kassiopi, Agni, and Barbati beaches. Book sun chairs at the Crystal Seaside experience. Hans helped my husband rent a bike, and he rode all over. Don't miss the Sea Calls Shop for souvenirs! Book this Villa!

A very high spec villa with wonderful finishes and great cooling system which made the villa comfortable even in very high temperatures. A stunning view and friendly local supermarket and bakery. The owner left very thoughtful food gifts and very helpful tips and advice for the stay and the villa was cleaned by a lovely lady mid week. I would not recommend the villa for anyone with younger kids and the pool more of a plunge pool to cool down rather than a place to stay and play for the whole day. Car essential given the steep hill up.

We loved our stay here! The villa was beautiful, very clean and has everything you need. Agni bay is great - a few restaurant options and boat hire from the bay. We didn’t have a car and didn’t miss it - local supermarkets even do delivery. It’s a lovely pleasant 20 minute walk to Kalami bay. Beautiful sunrises over Albania too. Ingrid was very helpful and friendly, and the housekeeping staff were great. (Do bring your mosquito spray!)

We absolutely loved our stay, it was spacious and with different outdoor areas to lounge or sit, great access for swimming, had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend, loved it.

This is one of the most beautiful villas that we ever stayed in. The rooms are all spacious and lovely. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and it’s the first time that I’ve stayed in a rental property where the knives were actually sharp so made preparing food a lot easier!

The villa was amazing with incredible views. Local taverna is a 2 min walk along the beach. The town is a 15 min walk with some great restaurants and marina. Property felt peaceful, private and comfortable. Katerina was very helpful and friendly. Wifi could be significantly better as was extremely slow and regularly dropped out, but that may just be the area. We will certainly return for another holiday here - we loved it!!

A fantastic villa in a quiet but central location on the island, with enough shops and restaurants within walking distance but also only a short drive to supermarkets and nearby beach resorts and Corfu Town. The villa is exactly like the photos, immaculately presented and with a very nice surprise of a welcome food & drink hamper - particularly useful as we arrived late on a Sunday! The outside space is fantastic for kids, fully enclosed and the hot-tub/pool combination were enjoyed by all - with a good size gas bbq for hosting/dining outside. Rooms were all a good size and the main living area has everything you could possibly need, loads of plates, glasses etc and a smart TV and bluetooth stereo system. Would definitely recommend! Daphne was a great host too, always on hand and very responsive to any questions or requests.

Everything was perfect - the villa, Kalami, Corfu. We can’t recommend this place enough - it was just stunning. The views are breathtaking, the pool and villa were immaculate, Sofia was so helpful with anything we needed. Kalami bay, with great restaurants and a well stocked supermarket, was 5 minutes from the villa. We loved it, thank you.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Antonio's place! I had booked his villa to celebrate my birthday with friends (which I mentioned when booking) and he greeted us with balloons and cake, which was so very thoughtful. The place is really lovely, with great views. The next village with restaurants is not that far (5 minute drive maybe?) and apparently a supermarket is being built just down the road. There is a little beach not too far away (10-15 minute walk). Would definitely love to come again!

Nicht perfekt aber sehr, sehr schön. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet fast alles was man braucht. Der Getränkekühlschrank im freien ist super, kurze Wege zum Getränk 😉 Es gab einen schönen Begrüßungskorb mit Obst, Wein und Likör. Wasser für Kaffee oder Tee war auch vorhanden. Die AVERTO lounge Cafe & bar und die Taverne Palaiomagazo im/am sind sehr empfehlenswert. Auf dem Grundstück selbst sind viele schöne Olivenbäume. Auch ohne Perfektion werden wir wiederkommen. 🫶

There are few places in this world so special! The villa was exceptional and a view that we will always remember. Antipaxos is a quiet peace of paradise with stunning beaches and staying here gave us the opportunity to experience the island when the day trippers had left, which was magic. The tavernas on the island offer great food and if you feel like a day trip to Gaios or Lakka; Paxos is not too far away. Barbara our host was the kindest most hospitable person we have had the pleasure of meeting at any Airbnb. Thank you to her for a truly incredible stay. We will return someday. Pure bliss!

Our stay at Thinalo in Corfu was absolute perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the villa’s stunning sea views, private beach access, and luxurious yet cozy atmosphere. The spacious bedrooms, each with their own balcony and bathroom, felt like a dream, while the fully equipped kitchen and seamless indoor-outdoor living made every meal a delight. What truly set Thinalo apart was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond—adjusting our booking when travel delays shortened our trip and ensuring every detail was flawless. Katia, who welcomed us, was warm and professional, even arranging a last-minute boat rental that became the highlight of our trip. Waking up to the sound of waves, enjoying sunset dinners on the terrace, and swimming in the crystal-clear Ionian Sea just steps from our door—every moment felt magical. Thinalo isn’t just a rental; it’s a slice of paradise. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

Stayed for one week, there were four of us and the villa provided ample space. The outdoor area is amazing and we chose to spend most of our time at the villa, relaxing and playing tennis. The local beach is only 10 mins away with a friendly cocktail bar. The sunsets were beautiful. Big shout out to the local Taverna ‘Spiros’ incredibly delicious food and great value for money. My recommendation would be to hire and car and to bring mosquito repellent if staying at Villa Maxim in the warmer months. We had such a special time. Corfu is beautiful and so is Villa Maxim.

We had the most wonderful time at the Land of Sirius and Christos is one of the most handsome hosts I've ever met. We spent 7 days at the Airbnb and were stunned by the silence that we were surrounded by, not to mention the scenery. The house itself is beautiful and contains everything that you will need. Stepping to the backside you will have a calming view of some mountains, behind the pool area you can spot the sea. The old olive trees do the rest to complete this soothing surrounding. The House was perfectly clean. On top of that it was cleaned once during our stay. Christos provided us with some very helpful information about local supermarkets and good taverns, which we tried and can confirm that they are absolutely worth a visit. The house also had a guest book with recommendations from past guests, which we loved. Of course, we added ours in there, too, so watch out for those. :) Thank you so much for an unbelievably silent and calming week - we will be coming back for sure!
