Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Centre Ville, Nîmes

The Atelier is a truly exceptional place to stay. It is a unique, beautifully styled property in a wonderfully peaceful location. Staying at the Atelier allows you to completely unwind surrounded by nature whilst being close to fantastic places to visit, like Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. The pool was very welcome on a hot day! Yolène is a wonderful, very responsive host, who has created a very special place to stay. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, shops and fêtes when we arrived but completely respected our privacy after that. We would definitely recommend the Atelier to our friends (in fact we have already done so!) and hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

A corner of heaven! I was looking for the charm of old stones, nature, the tree-lined garden and the functionality of a modern home, I was captivated, it was perfect! We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 and 8, the dream for them. I was afraid that the pool would be too small but not at all, it is bigger than in the photos, they had fun there for 5 days without getting tired. I often rent on Airbnb and rarely find gems like this home.

We had a great little week at Elen and Vincent's in this little cocoon. The accommodation is very cute, the patio very nice and in the middle of the jasmine flowering period it was magical. The accommodation is very well located, in the small alleys of the village, it is easy to park for free and the village of Margueritte is very pleasant. Elen and Vincent were very responsive and made themselves available as soon as we needed help. I recommend everyone to stay there.

Great property! We stayed here with our three dogs for a week. The house and backyard are great. The house is very clean and has a lot of modern touches like multiple air conditioning units, a refrigerator with an ice machine and water filter, large smart tv, and modern finishings. The place is very clean and well decorated. However the real star of the property is the backyard. It feels like an oasis in the city - the patio, yard, and pool are very well landscaped and a great place to relax. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard where we could hang out and enjoy the nice weather. The host was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to take our dogs. She also left us a dog bowl, toys, and bags which was very thoughtful (and some local beers for us, which was also very nice). The property is about a 15 minute walk to city center and the train station where you can find a lot of great restaurants and bars. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

Second stay at Dori's and still as soothing. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the stress of the city and at the same time easy to access even by public transit, go for it. Thanks again Dori for this stay 🥰

Charlotte was delightful as a host. Easy to work with, clear instructions and helpful. Her place is lovely. Designed by an artist. Quirky in all the right ways to make it fun. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Would gladly stay here again and happy to recommend it to others.

We stayed here for a month and it was a perfect spot! The location is fabulous, close to everything in the Ecusson, including the daily fresh market right next door. The apartment was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, well stocked with towels and linens, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It’s not overly large but is very well designed to make the best use of space without feeling tight. Since it’s a first floor unit, there is one flight of stairs to climb but they are wide and very well maintained. I’d highly recommend this apartment!

We had a great time in this apartment in a great location in the heart of Nîmes. Chris was very responsive when we needed him. We had everything we needed in the apartment, including a travel cot, bathtub and games for our child.

I was delighted to stay at Maëlys's, the accommodation is really tastefully decorated. The amenities offered are really good, not to mention the bedding which is really very comfortable. The accommodation is on a really quiet street but close to all amenities in the city of Nîmes. It was a pleasant time and Maëlys is really available for any questions and her instructions are very clear. Looking forward to coming back to Nîmes to stay again.

Estelle’s place was lovely. It is very nicely fitted out. The location is perfect for walking into the city centre and for visiting the hotspots. Lots of lovely restaurants within a minute’s walk and the temple is just around the corner. There is an extremely popular pub on the street below which was quite noisy at night time but if this doesn’t bother you, this is the perfect place to stay.

Wonderful apartment with high ceilings, beautiful floors and stylish furniture, in an old building with an extremely central location. It’s in the middle of pretty much everything! We walked easily with two kids and luggage between the apartment and the train station, and to all the interesting sights in Nîmes. Nice small balcony overlooking a square with lush old trees and an outdoor dining. Some of the crockery and towels were lacking when we arrived, but just minutes after I texted, the very owner of the apartment knocked on the door and provided us with everything we needed. The lack was probably due to a mistake by those managing the rental. The owner family was extremely nice and caring and took time to give us lots of recommendations. They even offered to shorten their weekend vacation to help us out on a specific matter. Like every old apartment, it’s in some need of maintenance. But if you prefer beauty and ambiance over new and perfect, this is your choice!

Lea was very friendly and communicative with us. The apartment is very nice and very comfortable. The only problem we had was at night when it rained, the sound of the rain was too loud and we had trouble sleeping since the apartment is on the top floor and it was loud against the roof. But everything else was 5/5. 😊

The location was amazing and the accomodation was beautiful. The facilities were high quality and the terrace was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
