The location of Big Oak Suite is incredibly quiet and peaceful. There is a very large walk-in closet with washer & dryer and loads of coat hangers and convenient shelving. John provides an incredible array of small items that one might have forgotten to pack such as tooth brush, toothpaste, mouthwash, razor, shaving creme, Tylenol, Advil, hand creme, sunscreen, scissors, sewing kit, and fingernail clippers. Big Oak Suite is laid out very well with a beautiful, functional kitchen with all the cooking necessities. The suite is very roomy for two people.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb, and Wendy made our experience a positive one. She met us upon our arrival, and she provided us with clear entry instructions prior to our arrival. She also had written instructions posted within the apartment when additional explanations were necessary. Everything about the apartment matched its Airbnb description. We would definitely stay with Wendy again, and can with confidence recommend the property to those considering a stay with Wendy in the future.

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

Carolyn’s Blue Door apartment was perfect for our Penn State CFP weekend stay. The property was clean, as described, and even more spacious than we anticipated! Perfect for four people and a nice 30 minute drive to State College. Carolyn was extremely responsive and we enjoyed some of the local restaurants right across the street. Will definitely be booking again!

Great little apartment - well laid out, clean, and well equipped. While it is just off a main street it was a quiet neighbourhood. We made many of our own meals in the clean and well equipped kitchen. Really fun decor. Especially if you are a Penn State and Nittany Lions fan!

This was our second stay. The space was quite comfortable and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than we had planned.

Great place and great location in State College. Tony is a great host, place was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed staying at his place during Penn State University graduation weekend. Highly recommend!

Such a pleasant house with all the amenities you need. The furnishings are beautiful and add to the charm. The space was perfect to host our family for graduation weekend. Large open sitting area in proximity to the kitchen with a large dining room to accommodate the whole family.

If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway, this is the place for you. It felt like a home away from home to us. This was our second stay at this house and would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends. Zetta was very helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. The house is spotless and we'll appointed. Even our pup enjoyed her stay.

We stayed here for my daughter and niece's cheer competition that was held at Penn State. It was only a quick 15 minute drive. Location was perfect. Monteca was a great host, she left very clear instructions on how to get into the property and he house rules were very straightforward. Monteca also had wonderful communication. While trying to figure out what we could do in the off time away from the competition, I had asked for any ideas or recommendations for kid-friendly ideas and she responded very quickly with plenty of ideas. The house was in great shape and was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We also had my parents stay with us here this weekend, this was their first AirBNB stay, and they were very impressed. I give this place 5 out of 5 for both the location and the host and would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The inside of the home was beautiful! Just as pictured. The beds are super comfy and the bathrooms are nicer than any hotel in all of happy valley. The host gets back to you right away and it was more than enough space for my family!

The area was beautiful, quiet and filled with wonderful sights all around. The airplanes were a big plus for us and had us amazed whenever we caught a glimpse! My husband calls it our airplane B&B weekend! We were running behind getting our daughter ready for a cheer competition and needed extra time Joe was very wonderful when I called and allowed us to get her ready prior to checking out! Thank you for hosting us for this important event! We placed 3rd!

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

This is our second stay at TJ’s. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the location is very convenient to Penn State.

This was an absolutely amazing location and cozy home to o base out of for a fishing week! We loved the house and the flexibility for the crew we had in for the week. Would definitely recommend and be back.

This was my second stay here. Irina is always responsive, and the place was renovated. Plenty of parking and outdoor space. The stream and wildlife was beautiful. Her son Dan is incredibly helpful and kind. We had a nice stay.

Nice place 15 mins. from State College. Clean and comfy. Would stay again. Good communication.

My wife and I stayed at Irina's place for a month and really enjoyed it. The room was super comfortable, and Dan was always kind and helpful. He even brought us water and let us borrow bicycles. There was a short power outage at the end, but it became a fun memory. The only thing to note is that it’s better to have a car, since there’s no public transport to State College. Overall, a great stay in a quiet, safe neighborhood near a lovely river. Thanks so much, Irina and Dan!

The place was perfect! The creek behind was filled with trout and the location was close to surrounding fishing spots as well. Never needed to go more than 10min away from the condo. Clean and well maintained by Dan.

Henry was a really great host. Great conversations and really helpful information. The place was neat and organized. It was in a peaceful location. I’ll definitely be reserving with Henry when I’m back in state college.
