Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Central Province

Falls ihr noch überlegt welche Unterkunft ihr in der Umgebung Sigirya/Dambulla buchen sollt, bucht diese Unterkunft !! Der beste Aufenthalt den wir auf Sri Lanka hatten. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gemütlich. Der See hinter dem Haus ist wunderschön zum Sonnenuntergang. Das allerbeste ist aber Lahiru und seine Familie. Seine Mutter macht ein wunderbares Frühstück und alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Lahiru und sein Vater haben uns für einen Top Preis überall hingefahren und abgeholt und sie waren immer erreichbar. (Ich empfehle die Tour nach Ritigala mit Lahiru, das war wunderschön !) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, falls es uns nochmal nach Sri Lanka verschlägt. Danke für alles !

Sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Host. Wir hatten leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Er hat uns eine private Safari Tour gegeben und uns Fahrten organisiert. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt hier! Vielen Dank ☺️

Cute little homestay near Sigiriya, we didn’t have to wake up too early to go and climb Pidurangala for sunrise. Asiri was very responsive and helpful, even though we arrived late in the evening he still gave us thorough instructions on how to use the room and his wife prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. There was a blackout for 2h due to the rain but they prepared lights for us so we could still finish our dinner and rest well that night. Breakfast was also amazing. Wish we had more time, would be a nice place to stay a few more days and explore more of the surrounding areas.

The Officers Mess is a superb find, with fascinating history. It's been transformed into to a light, modern, space with a great eye for interior design. Sat on the veranda, the view outside is idealic, and the dogs frisking around on the lawn are adorable. Andrew is an amazing host, and left us feeling like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, we ate some of the most delicious food we've had so far in Sri Lanka, and left feeling more knowledgeable about this beautiful country, wishing we could stay at the Officers Mess a while longer. Thank you so much for looking after us - we've had the best time :) Tom and Harriet

Wir haben wunderbare Tage bei Liz verbracht. Wir haben fein gegessen und sie hat unseren Kindern jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Optimaler Standort für Tagesausflüge zum botanischen Garten oder zum Ambuluwawa Tower. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Endroit paisible, chambre propre, bon petit déjeuner inclus et avec un léger surplus on peut prendre un autre repas. Près de tout en marchant qq minutes. Je vous recommande cet endroit, bon rapport qualité/ prix. Les hôtes sont vraiment gentils ainsi que le beau chien Labrador Léo🐾 Flexible pour l’arrivée, très apprécié surtout après un long voyage! Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Es kamen beim Frühstück Affen vorbei, beim Abendessen Rehe. Es war sehr schön und wir wurden sehr gut versorgt. Das Essen, von Mutter gekocht, war sensationel. gerne komme wir wieder. Gruß Frank

C’est une excellente adresse ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres avec tout le confort. Madu et son équipe vous accueille et vous aide à organiser votre séjour. Très bon petit déjeuner. Bon dîner et si vous voulez changer de cuisine il y a de bons restaurants à Sirigya, pas loin. Vraiment je recommande cette adresse.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im The Weir House und können ein paar Tage in der tollen Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. The Weir House ist sehr schön und ruhig im Grünen gelegen - perfekt zum Entspannen, kleine Wanderungen in die umliegenden Teeplantagen oder Tagesausflüge nach Kandy oder in eine Teafactory. Mr. Maha und sein Team haben durch ihre freundliche und zuvorkommende Art sehr zu einem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt beigetragen! Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle nochmal. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das leckere Essen, das z.T. aus Produkten aus dem eigenen Garten zubereitet ist. Alles in allem ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great place for convenient stay if you're climbing Adam's Peak, just a short walk away from the entrance. Place is sufficiently stocked with amenities for your rest before and after the hike. Madu is a warm and friendly host who can help you if you need transport bookings or advice on the hike. The breakfast provided is very abundant and filling. There is also food to order if dinner is needed the night before the hike. PSA: Adam's Peak is quite a drive in, do take into consideration when booking transport to the guest house. Very thankful for a good post-hike meal, warm shower, and decent bed to rest on. Would recommend!

My family and I had a great time at Madura’s place. We were grateful to find this still available for one night. It is a great location and Madura was very helpful and accommodating especially when we booked last minute. Thank you so much and we loved staying here.

Bei unserer Ankunft in der Appleton Villa waren wir sehr überrascht. Zwar ist sie etwas abgeschieden von Nuwara Eliya, daher empfiehlt sich ein eigenes Fahrzeug, aber die Unterkunft ist die modernste und luxoriöste, die wir bisher auf Sri lanka gefunden haben. Das Zimmer ist super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man so benötigt - sogar mit einem großen Smart-Tv. Das Bett ist wahnsinnig Bequem und die dicke Bettdecke perfekt für die kühlere Region. Die Dusche hat heiß Wasser und einen Föhn. Das Frühstück ist auch super Umfangreich und man verlässt morgens gesättigt das Haus. Der Host ist super und sehr bemüht, dass es einem gut geht. Deswegen haben wir gleich noch eine Nacht hier gebucht.

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.

One of the best host i have come across. The hospitality was superb. The food served was awesome. She helped us plan our itinerary and gave us very useful tips.

Gayan's parents were lovely, they were kind, generous and very accommodating. It was the perfect spot for us. They had parking, was clean, had a net, was central to all tourist locations, gave us local tips, provided a delicious breakfast and were in general very lovely. Cannot recommend this more.

Прекрасное, светлое, чисто жилье с невероятным видом из панорамных окон в комнате, в комнате есть все необходимое, соответствует описанию и фотографиям. Хозяин дружелюбный, ответит на все интересующие вопросы, и накормит вкуснейшим завтраком. Рядом действительно нет кафе и ресторанов, но pickme и uber в случае чего смогут доставить еду прямо к жилью.

I would highly recommend. It was a really nice and quiet place. Everything what we wanted to see was in a good walking distance.

Das essen in der Unterkunft war wirklich top. Dazu konnten wir während unserem Aufenthalt viele Tiere sehen.

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, un Allogio in mezzo alla natura! Stanza pulita e grande! Siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa il host e la sua famiglia sono stati sempre disponibili e ci hanno aiutato a pianificare tutte le attività! Allogio si trova in una bellissima posizione la sera ci spostavamo a piedi per andare a mangiare! Colazione preparata con molta cura e gentilezza! Consiglio questo Allogio! Bellissima esperienza sicuramente ritornerò !
