Vacation rentals with lake access in Central Otago District

We loved our stay in Hāwea, especially with the secret sauna nearby. The house was spotless, easy and had all the facilities. Thank you for having us!

Fantastic host.. The washing machine and dryer is great so we can have our clothes washed. The kitchen is fully equipped. Even the condiments for cooking. The location is very convenient. 5mins drive and there are lots of restaurants. Linda has also recommended the restaurants and Kika is really good. Linda is always prompt in her response. Highly recommend her place!

Wow! Everything about Kelly and Craig's Escape is wonderful. Clear instructions. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed. Excellent heating - heat pump and the best little fire. Not to mention the under floor heating in the bathroom. Cooking facilities with all the tools you need, if you want a night in. Lovely private grounds, with the bonus of an awesome hot tub. A short 15 minute drive into Wanaka. My husband and I wouldn't hesitate staying again. Thanks Kelly and Craig.

A very comfortable home next to Lake Hawea, you can literally walk to the lake from the backyard of the house. The Lake view is stunning in the morning. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so suitable for family travel. Everything you need is there, BBQ, washing machine, drying machine. All in all, a very comfortable place to stay.

The house had everything we needed, was a beautiful space and was so close to town! Couldn’t have asked for a better location

This is the most striking house in the most beautiful location I have stayed in New Zealand. If you have a big group and are looking for something posh, this is a terrific place. We felt right at home.

The house was terrific, spotlessly clean and attractive with a beautiful view out to the water from the living area. It is a quiet area, the beds are super comfy and everything felt thought through and welcoming. If we were staying for longer we would have certainly pottered off along the walkway beside the water. Wendy was very friendly and I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Megan’s place. Perfect for two, looked exactly like the pictures. The studio was clean and was exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Megan was quick at responding and allowed us to check out later with no issues:))

Lots of space in the place. Quiet side of town. We had some lovely walks from the place. The scones Edgewater were amazing! Wanaka is a beautiful town.

Love staying at these Apartments right on the beautiful Clutha River trails and right next door to our favourite cafe the Pembroke Patisserie, Albie Tavern & Takeaways right there, Four Square and laundry mat, so everything you need on your doorstep. Very close to Wanaka town and the beautiful Lake Hāwea.

Lovely cosy spot with everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Jen and Lee were friendly and welcoming hosts.

Such a perfect house! Compact yet very well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The house was pristine clean, and the location was peaceful and quiet, very ideal for a relaxing stay. Exceptionally beautiful stay. Stunning cottage and location, with very thoughtful and generous hosts. We loved the local art that was showcased too - a vibrant and unique collection.

We had another fantastic stay with Ray and Deb in Cromwell, our second time staying with them while in town for an agility show. Their house is in a perfect spot, just a 10-minute walk to the Stoaker Room for dinner, and close to many walkways leading to the lake. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable, with beds that guarantee a great night's sleep and everything we need to feel at home. Deb is absolutely lovely and makes us feel so welcome every time. It's the little things that make such a difference, and their place has truly become our favourite spot to stay in Cromwell. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

For a couple or on your own, very comfortable and handy location to town, wineries and walks

We stayed 2 nights at this place. The cottages was wonderful. The place was quiet and convenient. Kirsty and Justin made the house just feel like home, which made us relaxed and enjoyed it a lot. The facilities and amenities in the house were abundant and easy to use, especially the hot tub! The host was friendly, responding fast to my questions. We really had a great experience here.
