Sauna cabin by the lake on the beach

A small and atmospheric sauna cabin on the shore of a clear-water lake offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. There is a sandy beach and a swim dock on the property. You'll also have access to a sauna, a rowing boat, and an outdoor terrace for cooking and dining. The sauna cabin has a fireplace, so you can stay overnight even in cooler weather. There is space for four people to sleep, two sleeping places on the loft and a sofa bed that can be spread out downstairs. An outdoor toilet can be found behind the sauna room. Sauna hut in the courtyard

Come and have a relaxed holiday in our small, idyllic sauna cottage located in the yard of our single-family home by the lake. Cycling trails and hiking paths are right nearby, and Himokki is only about 6 km (3.7 miles) away. The cabin has its own toilet with a hand shower (for personal hygiene) and a basic kitchenette. There is a gas grill in the yard. Please note: There is no shower in the cabin. Bathing is done using traditional methods. The tent sauna is included in the price. There is a €15 charge for using the large sauna. Feel free to reach out!

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a log building made for summer use, which moved to Hietasalmi, a peninsula between two lakes, in the 1970s. At the tip of the peninsula there is a sandy beach. The forest areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala farm. The terrain is undulating, small-scale moraine land, which in some places changes into rock or wetter depressions. Nearby you will find all types of forests. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Vesantojärvi towards Rautalammi. The water is particularly good for canoeing.

Guest house with its own swimming area

The guesthouse is in a great location on the shore of Päijänne. You have a cozy room with its own entrance, a covered terrace with tables, a grill, a shower, a toilet, and a private swimming area. It is possible to rent a wonderful wood-fired beach sauna with a beautiful beach and beach rocks. Great views on the big back. In winter, trails on the ice from the yard and an open water hole. Nearby nature trails, Himos, Sauna Village, Petäjävesi Old Church, Aalto Museum. A short trip to the main road and bus stop, even with public access.

Peaceful and wilderness cabin

Accommodation in a small guest house connected to the host's cottage on the shore of a scenic lake in Keuru. Ähtäri's hiking trails and, of course, the animal park about 19 km. 60 km to Keuru and 35 km to Keskinen. Great for an overnight stay. Staying in a cottage for two people. There is a kettle and electricity as well as running water. The summer kitchen is free to use, cooking on the grill and on the plate with your own snacks. There's also a small fridge in the kitchen. You can swim directly from the dock. Swimwear €5.

Pihakammari (uninhabitable)

The yard chamber is located near the home of Alvar Aalto; Aalto's koetalo and Säynätsalo Municipal House within a 2-3 km radius, Muurame Church 7 km from the accommodation. The bed in the bedroom is 140 cm wide. The kitchen area in the room is equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, please. A traditional Finnish yard sauna can be rented in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There is no WiFi in the chamber. The unit is compact at 16 m2.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This guesthouse was newly-built in 2024 with comfortable amenities ( e.g indoor WC and shower). It is located in the middle of old-growth forests, in a private bay & a calm lake with sunset view. A place, is meant to “adopt the pace of nature”, offers real retreat from hectic life. The rate includes use of hot tub, SUP board, and rowing boat (May to October). Two terraces for your own use: one with roof cover for BBQ and summer kitchen; the second is for hot tub, fireplace, hammock and fishing.

Saharanta sauna cottage welcomes you to the countryside of beautiful Central Finland! Our sauna cottage is a pleasant little cabin by the lake Keitele in Konginkangas. It has one main room with a dining table, fridge, a microwave, an electricity stove and a kettle. The sleeping room upstairs is open space with the main room. Our 5-member family (and a friendly dog and 2 cats) is living in the mainhouse at the same garden. Your private toilet and shower are located in the main house.
