The sea room in Bakkehuset in Thy - yoga, garden, calm

Bakkehuset is a small farmhouse from the 1930s that has been converted into a cozy yoga, garden and creative house. We usually use the house for retreats, classes and yoga lessons. When we don't have retreats, we open the house to others looking for an informal place for contemplation and relaxation. The house has a self-sufficient garden and a permaculture garden that supplies us with fresh vegetables. When you stay in Bakkehuset, you are welcome to join us in the garden. You are also welcome to participate in our yoga classes by appointment :).

Rural idyll

Holiday apartment on the 1st floor of our abandoned country estate. It is about 30 m2. Here is a double bed (160x200), armchairs, coffee table and TV. Dining area for 4 and a small kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, etc. As well as a bathroom with shower. The apartment is locked off from the rest of the house, and has its own roof terrace from which there is also a private entrance. Free WiFi. We have 2 fjord horses, chickens, goats and a sweet outdoor cat. Rental of a stall for a horse is possible.

Room with private kitchen, bathroom and entrance. I live on my grandmother's abandoned farmhouse, where at one end of the house there has been a small barn (which has been converted into a dwelling, and this is where you will stay). In the room is a double bed + sofa bed. Next to you, a chamber with a bed 1.20 wide. There are towels, bedding/linens, dish towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, etc. There is plenty of room in my garden for you, my children/grandchildren (who all live abroad) and me. Welcome.

Møllegården #1 - Hørdum Thy

Room with 1 double bed (140x200) + 1 single bed. Our 2 rooms are located in a separate building with its own entrance and there is a bathroom/toilet as well as a kitchen. Kitchen and bathroom/toilet are shared with room # 2. There is plenty of space both outside and inside - we live on a disused farm in Hørdum Thy - with large, lovely grasslands. Come and enjoy the silence and nature here in beautiful Thy. Thy National Park and the North Sea with Cold Hawaii close by........

Pizzaoven, spa, kingsize bed - large garden

Outdoor spa, pizza oven, football field, large barbeque, a shelter and a SUP board. Fresh air between the sweet smelling pines that also provide protection from the wind. 300 m from the Limfjord and 20 min drive from the North Sea you find our family's holiday house. The 80m2 holiday house with the large kitchen-dining area has a wood stove. The newly renovated kitchen makes it easy to cook your own food. The anneks and the bedrooms provide to opportunity to withdraw.

Sophiendal Manor house

Hus med 4 soveværelser, stue, køkken og 2 badeværelser. Nyistandsat hus med lækkert interiør og gode køkkenfaciliteter. Huset er nyrenoveret og blev før i tiden benyttet som kornsilo. Huset ligger 20 minutter vest for Århus og 10 km nord for Skanderborg. Man kan sejle ad Guden åen fra Randers eller blot tage bussen fra togstationen i Skanderborg. Sophiendal restaurant kan servere morgen- og aftensmad af lokale råvarer særligt fra godsets eget landbrug.

Design loft with private lake | 5 min from the sea

The Hayloft is the ideal retreat for two people. The gable is completely glazed and offers a magnificent view of the private lake and the national park behind it. In the middle of the room is the "Magic Box." It houses the kitchen, a dining area and the dressing room. At the top of the box is the gallery bed, which has a view far into the national park through the glass parapet. In the garden there is a deck and a work studio. 200 m to the sea.

Cozy single room in newly renovated barn (no. 301)

Welcome to Sejersminde Bed and Breakfast, located 500 meters from Mrs. Møller's Mølleri (and restaurant) and just two kilometers from one of the best beaches in Denmark, namely Saksild Stand. In one of the newly renovated stable buildings, we have an apartment with four rooms (two single, two double) that we rent out. You can also rent the entire apartment if there are more of you. We offer access to breakfast for a small extra fee.

Unique summer house with a view

Unique cottage! Completely renovated barn building, with visible beams, high ceilings and views of fields. Spacious, beautiful and cozy. 15 min walk to beach and fjord. Besser is a cozy, small town with a sandwich café and a good atmosphere. We are three sisters who have built and renovated the barn building since 2013. We love the place and are often here with friends and family. The house dates from 1777.
