Vacation rentals with beach access in Celestún

We really enjoyed these days of stay! While the property is exceptional with a unique location right on the beach and wonderful views, Paloma's guide, friendliness, and warmth were extraordinary. What a magical place! You have to visit 💫💫💫

This is the second time I have stayed here for stays longer than a week and I am always fascinated by the tranquility that the space offers, the beautiful landscapes and the very safe area to be and go for a walk, away from the hustle and bustle of much more crowded beaches. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a few pleasant and very relaxing days.

I want to thank Kurt for the great stay we had in Merida! He was very responsive and gave helpful advice/recommendations for our trip. The pool was very relaxing and we enjoyed the pickleball court as well.

We had an amazing stay in Moisés’ condo. The unit is beautifully furnished, comfy beds, well-outfitted kitchen, plenty of seating, towels, everything! The pool and patio area are incredible. Everything was spotlessly clean and the on-site attendant was helpful. We would highly recommend a stay in Moisés’ house for couples, families, or groups. Great beach within 100 yards, easy access to downtown restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Wonderful vacation spot!!

The apartment was clean and smelled of clean! very well equipped! It has an optimal design and the facilities are nice, in good condition and with a very nice aesthetic. Miguel is very attentive and the manager David gave us a brief and clear explanation of the dynamics to follow. The sea is like 100 meters away and I would definitely stay there again! We had a great time! We were fortunate that there were few guests so we enjoyed the silence and stillness of the environment! THANK YOU!!!

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

I couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay in Sisal! Great house, beautiful and tranquil backyard space. There was an issue with the electricity because they were doing work on the street, but once I let Wilbert know he dropped everything and drove an hour to come check it out and didn’t leave until he had fixed it! I hope to be back in Sisal one day, and if so, I’d love to stay here again.

A wonderful house, out of the way, great facilities, slightly odd (but unthreatening) neghborhood. Excellent chef and masseuse recommendations. Though pool cleaned once weekly, becsuse of gulls would have preferred a working filter system. Glad there was no television; it enhanced the peaceful nature of our stay. I’d definitely return!

The home and beach are stunning! Everything in the home is as described. We enjoyed being lazy on the patio watching the pelicans dive for their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach had very little litter and MANY beautiful shells. Be sure to see the pink flamingos just a few minutes away.

I went with my family and it was just spectacular. The house is spacious, bright and super comfortable, perfect for resting and enjoying together. It has a beautiful ocean view, and hearing the waves at night was magical. The kitchen is well-equipped, the rooms are cool and cozy, and the garden has direct beach access. We spent our days walking on the sand, watching incredible sunsets, and having family dinners outdoors. Definitely a place I want to go back to. Ideal to get away and recharge surrounded by nature and good company.

This was our first vacation to Mexico with my wife, my 16-year-old son, his friend, and a family friend. Casa Mariposa easily accommodated us, with a casita especially suitable for the boys. The beach right out back and a fishing pier nearby were perfect (my son is an avid fisherman). The house was comfortable and well-equipped for cooking. Chuburna is unassuming, easygoing, and friendly, and has a few delightful restaurants. It's about a 20-minute drive to Progreso, the island's big "city" center, where one can find all the conveniences needed. Merida, within an hour's drive, is a charming colonial city well worth a trip in itself. My wife and our friend spent two days in a first-class boutique hotel. El Centro models itself after Paris and the Champs-Élysées. She loved it. We didn't travel around the peninsula, but easy day trips to cenotes and other ecological tours are worth checking out. Flying to/from Merida via the US East Coast was quick and uneventful.

Amazing service and good location

Beautiful secluded place great for respite. Very nice family with the parents next door who are wonderful people. Uber is available sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get there so plan accordingly to head into Progresso for restaurants and shopping & groceries.

We arrived late from Cancun, but 24hr security helped with luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. The apartment is lovely and exactly as described. We had a car which could be parked in the car park area. A few restaurants within walking distance but closed sunday and monday. Roxanne gave some recommendations and we found La Laguna and El Timon fine too. I'd recommend a trip to Hammock Island, Isla Columpios. Uber is cheap and reliable if you don't have a car. We left the car and Ubered into Marida. Too hot to walk anywhere in May🥵 Oh, and the pool is great for cooling off and chatting with other guests/owners.

Amazing apartment, very nice and comfortable, just like in the photos. It has many amenities, the kitchen is very complete, it has too many utensils. In the bathroom they leave shampoo and soap, they have enough towels and an iron for clothes. The air conditioners work super well, in general everything works well except for a TV that really did not affect our stay. On the balcony there is a super comfortable chair to spend the afternoon there, and you can see the pool. The pool is very comfortable, it has a height of approximately 1.2 meters. The beach is 1-2 minutes away on foot, however, (at least I had to) there is an unpleasant smell in the entrance area and the area there is not very "adaptable" to be in the sea. In conclusion, I highly recommend it, it's worth it.

Oscar was always on the lookout, super attentive and friendly, the accommodation is more than excellent, it has everything you need and more to spend an incredible few days, the next time I return I will surely stay with him again.
