Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cave Spring

Well designed and functional space was great for an inter-generational family trip down to the Roanoke area! Evan was hyper responsive to any questions and had detailed recommendations and instructions for the house.

This place was perfect for my family including my husband and 2 daughters ages 15 and 12. I had come into Roanoke for my 25 year college reunion and wanted to be close to the Hollins campus. The house was less than five minutes from Hollins and also maybe a 10 minute drive from downtown.

The only thing missing were binoculars!!! What a beautiful, serene place! The four of us had such a good time! The highlight was visiting Tom Wynn’s Cobb Hill Alpaca Farm!! This home is so well built and cared for…everything worked and was up to date. We’ll definitely come again!!

Jonathan was extremely responsive. A very kind and flexible host. The carriage house had everything we needed.

We stayed here with friends for a wedding and were conveniently close to the venue in Rocky Mount. Very clean house. Very comfortable to stay in.

Taylor was an amazing host. She was fantastic with communication, accommodating with our early check in request, and checked in on our stay. The house was perfect for our family to stay in during our wedding weekend. There were cute touches, extra's provided (kids toys and books), and our family loved the addition of the hot tub. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back!

This is our home away from home when we go to our annual family reunion. Julie’s home is spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The home is always well-stocked with the necessities and a few extra touches, like a bowl of welcome snacks, coffee for the Keurig, etc. We love Starling Place. We have stayed three years in a row and will be back next year.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

This Airbnb is in an absolutely stunning location. We stayed here for my daughter‘s graduation from Virginia Tech and it’s a 30 minute drive from campus. It is down some windy mountain roads, but the views are spectacular. The apartment is exactly as described; everything was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment.The host was super responsive and if we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Keeping it Real! The condo was comfortable and clean and with a gorgeous lake front view. We had an extra request upon checking in and Reginald was very accommodating. I would stay again!

This place is heaven. My friend and I stayed in the cottage which had everything we needed. Check in and out were both simple. The property is gorgeous and the waterfall is accessible by foot or vehicle. Il also loved being able to bring my dog. Highly recommended and I hope to return in the future!

Amanda’s home was very clean and in a beautiful location! We only stayed for one night because we wanted to break up our drive in half, but the area and home were both great. If you’re looking for a restaurant to try during your stay, I would highly recommend trying The Farmhouse in Christiansburg, VA. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Loved our stay at Jib Point! The location is fantastic - beautiful view, easy access to the water and neighborhood amenities. The condo is modern, cozy, clean, and well equipped. Judy is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place, very large, very eclectic and so many outdoor options. Just a few min from trails and restaurants. Hosts were amazing and very communicative.

We were so lucky to have found the perfect place to quietly elope on top this magnificent property. The surrounding landscape was stunning to say the least. Having my dog-of-honor by my side and my soon to be husband’s best-boy was the cherry on top. I could never thank the hosts enough for their kindness and communication for making this a memory for a lifetime. We came in the end of May and once the sun went down the lighting bugs came out and it was the perfect ending to our wedding day like a private/silent firework show just for us.

Great cottage for a couple. Beautiful gardens around the cottage. Perfect location if fly fishing or kayaking the nearby Smith River.

We were amazed the pictures looked GREAT, but being there was the Best!! Easy assessable, 1 story, the massive king size bed was awesome! Location is perfect, It was PERFECT for our two small fur babies that absolutely loved the patio fenced in area!!! Also, seeing the doe eating in the backyard behind the fence area was a delight for us! The Diner in walking distance was fabulous, clean, friendly local staff and the owner was so friendly! Breakfast and lunch was spot on! We have been and used airBNB many years now truly THIS IS ONE OF THE Best Places!!!!! Thanks for sharing this BLESSING with US!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was even better than the pictures, beautifully designed with attention to detail and perfectly clean as well. We enjoyed local hikes along the parkway nearby and loved our time relaxing and recharging at the cabin. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic space especially for a large or even extended family gathering. It’s walkable to great coffee and restaurants including a bakery! The greenway is close and so beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommended!!

What a gorgeous property & home that is shared with the lucky AirBnB community! Upon driving up the hill to the site, you can’t miss the beauty surrounding you! The home is situated nearby (but not on top of) a large corral-fenced pasture, which is home to a variety of horses & a sweet donkey named Cora (which guests may feed treats supplied by the owners). The keyless entry pad is simple to use. Once you step inside, the 3 generously-sized bedrooms, 2 full baths, large modern kitchen, & spacious open dining room and family room await! Everything is clean & near. The property boasts lovely trails, a large bonfire pit & plenty of space to catch some sun on the lovely deck or just walk into the woods for a shady stroll. This property is “off the beaten track” yet super close to shopping & downtown Salem. Thank you Heather & Scott for opening your Guest Home for others to enjoy. And a huge shout-out to Preston, the Farm “everything” guy, who set out the firewood & helped us on day 1!!
