Bluebird Cottage is a quaint little haven 8km from Westport town. Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. So we are very centrally located in the West. Peace and Tranquillity Ahoy!

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Boat Shed. It was incredibly clean with a really well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Location was absolutely beautiful and felt very private with great views and close to Westport town. Michelle was so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome as well as giving us some great recommendations for the area. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. Patricia’s place was in a beautiful neighborhood, it was segregate owed from the rest of the home and felt like we had our own apartment. Patricia was very accommodating and nice. She helped with several recommendations. She offered to take us into town if needed. Her home was beautiful, clean and safe. We felt comfortable here and would definitely stay again.

Helen und Luis sind klasse Gastgeber. Sie haben uns beim Frühstück immer mit prima Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ausgestattet. Besonders die ausführliche Wettervorhersage war golden wert. Daneben ist auf jeden Fall noch zu erwähnen, dass wir die Gespräche als sehr inspirierend und bereichernd empfanden, nicht nur bezüglich unseres Aufenthalts in Irland. Die beiden sind sehr sympathisch und herzlich! Ach ja, der selbstgebackene Kuchen verdient Erwähnung. Also, fünf Sterne tripple plus.

We spent an amazing time at Tom‘s place! He and his family are Irish hospitality incorporated: there was a hamper with all kinds of yummy treats, the fridge was stocked with basic groceries and we had a personal welcome by our host. The house is amazing: sitting in such a beautiful and serene environment, equipped with everything you might want for your stay and the most amazing views all around! We loved everything about the stay. Tom was always around to be approached, provided us with very good tips for things to do and places to visit and made sure we had everything we needed. We can fully recommend this - an absolute 5-star-AirBnb!
