Vacation rentals with a patio in Castle

Great little place to stay. We booked the one with the private terrace which was perfect. Location is spot on too, very near town and only 10 minute taxi to the Bay. Annoyingly I didn't have time to use the shower but the bathroom was very tidy. Was quite weird that the door knew my name but also reassuring that we were in the right place. Not sure if I didn't read the info correctly but there is non permit parking that is quite reasonable right outside the property. I'd booked parking elsewhere but didn't need to. On busy days, it might be needed but we stayed on a week day. Definitely better than a hote and would stay there again.

Jolanta and I only had contact through the news. She is a likeable landlady and available at any time. Access to the apartment is via a key box - very easy to set 4 digits with number wheels. The apartment is very bright and friendly. It is very quiet at night (residential area). If you like to sleep in the dark, you have to take a sleeping mask or something similar for one of the bedrooms, as the street lamp is very bright. It didn't bother me. The other bedroom is inside. If you are a good walker, you can reach the city in 20 minutes and the Penarth Pier in a good 30 minutes. Penarth Pier is beautifully located on the Bristol Canal. You can also eat well there. Cardiff can also be reached by car in a quarter of an hour. Cardiff Bay (harbor) offers many pubs and restaurants. You can also go for a walk there. If I ever go back to the area, I will definitely stay in Jolanta's apartment again.

Great place to stay for a weekend away in Cardiff. Short walk to Mermaid Quay. Really peaceful location. Spacious and very clean, comfy beds. Bonus of a secure parking space. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend.

We spent 3 nights at Hayley’s place and it was absolute perfect! Exactly as seen in the pictures, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The bed was very comfy! Coffee machine was a great touch! Will definitely be staying again :)

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

We had a great stay at this apartment! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The apartment itself was spotless clean, very functional, and surprisingly bright for a basement unit. We especially appreciated the spacious layout, the small backyard, and how well-lit it was throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the touch-sensitive table lamps—such a nice detail! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our entire stay, and we found the welcome pack really helpful, especially the manual for the heater, which came in handy during the night. The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful houses and tree-lined streets. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the central rail station, which we didn’t mind at all. All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay at this great property. Davina has gorn above and beyond on detail to this property perfect for a romantic weekend away. Welcome hamper was also a surprise and great thought from Davina. Davina was also very responsive to messages. Overall property was also squeaky clean not one fault with this property. An incredible stay at Deb and Wayne’s beautiful lodge! Probably one of the nicest Airbnbs we have ever stayed at - super clean, great location for exploring, and has every amenity you could need. Our hosts were so friendly and on hand should you need them, and were so kind to our children. They left scooters for the kids to play on, games in the house/garden and even food out each morning for them to feed the sheep that were in the field next to the lodge. Just brilliant! We cant wait to return already 😊

We had a fantastic week in Cardiff, staying at Michael’s place in Penarth. The house was perfect for our group of six - clean, spacious, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. Penarth is a lovely area with great cafes, restaurants, and a beautiful coastal walk. We especially loved the walk over the Cardiff Bay Barrage Locks. The kitchen was well equipped and with a large wine fridge, which is a godsend with such a large group. Michael, Nadia and Kate were brilliant hosts, quick to respond and full of great local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The place was exactly as described, hot tub very clean and sizeable, house was very clean. Jay was extremely responsive, and even let us have a late checkout at very short notice which was very kind

Absolutely loved this air BnB Gill was extremely helpful and the cottage was brilliant Loads of room Very comfortable with stunning views Enjoyed my visits from Bella the cat too and the horses over the gate I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again highly recommended

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. A great place to stay so quiet it is a good walk into town but a bit of a hill on the way back,but all in all host very attentive definitely would stay again

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!

Great place and wonderful host. Excellent communication throughout stay. Very close to principality stadium and Cardiff city centre and also provides free parking in the city centre which is a big plus
