Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Very private and quiet location. I would give Caroline's beautiful Gite 6 stars if able

Beautiful quiet place with splendid view on top of a hill surrounded by a few kind of people. The hostess was very responsive and kind.

Accueil irréprochable. Petit logement facile d'accès, propre, bien entretenu, il y a tout ce dont on peu avoir besoin dans le logement. L'hôte a pensé à tout pour que notre séjour soit des plus agréables. Réponses aux questions / demandes très rapides. Je recommande vraiment pour un court ou plus long séjour. Encore merci pour votre hospitalité 🙏

Très contente de ce séjour, un petit paradis qui nous a permis d être dans notre bulle. Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil et leur réactivité suite a une de mes demandes de dernière minute. Je reviendrai avec plaisir pendant la saison du jaccuzi pour en profiter 😊

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Un petit coin de Paradis au bout du monde 😊. Parfait pour se ressourcer loin de l’agitation . Des petites attentions à l’arrivée qui font très plaisir, communication très facile avec Olivier, le logement est très fonctionnel, très bien pensé et équipé. N’ayez aucun doute, vous passerez un très bon moment.

Nous avons été reçu par Pieter excellente hôte qui nous a offert un apéritif le soir nous avons eu une discussion très intéressante sur sa maison positive et la manière dont il l'a construite c'était très intéressant découverte d'un homme passionné dans une maison autonome quelqu'un de charmant nous vous recommandons ce lieux Arnaud et Coralie

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem wunderbaren ruhigen großen Park. Die Rosen duften und die Terrasse bietet viel Platz zum entspannen. Die Vögel hört man abends sowie die Frösche am Teich… es waren tolle drei Tage, ein perfekter Abschluss nach der Stadt.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

We had a friendly welcome from Deborah, Simon, and their dog. The Coquet Cottage was beautifully decorated with lovely touches like linen bedding and a nice kitchen area. The grounds were beautiful, our dog loved spending time outside. The outdoor tub was very welcome on a hot day. The hosts recommended the local lake and some dog walking routes. A beautiful part of France, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce logement, le cadre est beau, calme et apaisant. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli, merci pour toutes les attentions. Le logement est équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour passer quelques jours aussi confortablement qu'à la maison.

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber mit einer traumhaften Unterkunft. Sehr abgelegen kann man hier gut zur Ruhe kommen und den Alltag hinter sich lassen. Monpazier (5min mit dem Auto entfernt) bietet eine malerische Kulisse, alles was man zum täglichen Gebrauch benötigt und in den weiteren Dörfer in der näheren Umgebung wird jeder Entdecker/in fündig. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen!

On cherchait un lieu pour se reposer au calme, aux vues des photos on a d’abord cru à une arnaque et les avis nous on rassuré. La réalité est milles fois au dessus encore. C’est juste le paradis sur terre. Tout est paisible, aménagé avec énormément de goût et de bon sens. Nous avons même pas bougé du logement tellement nous étions bien dans cet immense jardin dans lequel notre chien a été au moins aussi heureux que nous. Et alors Jackie et son mari sont des hôtes incroyables de gentillesse et de bienveillance. Nul doute que nous reviendrons. Un immense merci pour cette parenthèse enchanté.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la maison d'Helen à Cavagnac. La maison est située dans un hameau de rêve, calme et romantique. Elle est confortablement aménagée et dispose de belles places assises autour de la maison. Nous avons également apprécié le whirlpool. Helen est super sympathique, elle nous accueille personnellement et répond volontiers à toutes nos questions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Je kan je geen betere gastheer wensen dan Arnaud! Pro actief of alles naar wens is, of informerend of hulp nodig is. Via de app om je rust en privacy te respecteren, maar nemen de tijd voor een gesprek als je dat wilt. De accommodatie is nieuw en gezellig ingericht met oog voor details. Wij voelden ons er gelijk thuis! De dikke muren houden warmte buiten en je kan er een goede nachtrust hebben in de heerlijke bedden en goede geluidsisolatie. De ligging is gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Er is al veel over geschreven in de introductie van Arnoud en Elodie, maar als je lekker rustig wilt zwemmen, aan de kant wilt relaxen en in de schaduw onder de bomen wilt liggen met een horeca voorziening erbij, ga dan naar Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. Ook het plaatsje Monpazier is zeker de moeite waard! Normaal liggen supermarkten kilometers ver weg maar in deze plaats is er eentje op 900 meter. Arnoud, Elodie, dank voor de heerlijke tijd!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, accompagnés de notre chienne, dans le petit loft. Celui-ci est très confortable, paisible, très propre et bien agencé. La literie est de qualité hôtellerie. Les hôtes, Elisabeth et Philippe sont charmants et avenants. Sur les conseils d Elisabeth, nous avons visité la Penne d Agenais, Pujols, Monflanquin, le Temple du lot, le marché du samedi de Villeneuve sur lot. Nous aurions grand plaisir à revenir en ces lieux
