Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

The house was in a perfect location, it was quiet but close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. Marine was super responsive and easy to work with.

Great apartment right in the center of Sarlat's market area! It is very cozy and provides easy access to all the town has to offer. Parking was very convenient nearby as well.

Very beautiful quiet house with two large bedrooms. Missing some kitchen essentials (oil, salt, sugar...). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardener), possibility of presence of tractors.

What a charm when you arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a wooded and well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. Exceptional hospitality from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very sweet and generous and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. Pleasure from the morning to open the windows, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It's a peaceful haven with beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

We had a great time at the Tilleuls' house. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which was nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is nice with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket upon arrival. My husband and I spent a week at Catherine's stunning home in June. The grounds are literally breath taking and the apartment had everything you needed. We loved the pool area and Catherine supplied a bbq so we had dinner on our own private lawn overlooking the beautiful grounds one evening, truly magical! Emyet is only 5 mins drive and has an abundance of beautiful restaurants. Catherine was so helpful giving us great suggestions of places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it for a special stay in the Dordogne. Wonderful!! Thank you Catherine.

An enchanting break at the cabin by the pond! We had a great time close to nature. A warm welcome from Sara, with excellent sourdough bread. Access is quick and easy to this cocoon of greenery. The cabin is cozy and full of charm. We were able to enjoy it in the sun, but also snuggle in during a stormy evening, it was great and so cozy, the cabin is very well insulated; but if necessary, the stove was already ready to heat this cozy place (we did not need it.). We felt at home there. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy this peaceful retreat, observe nature and adopt a peaceful lifestyle. We highly recommend this place and its charming hostess. Thanks for creating this place.

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Château de Monciaux. We were 12 adults, 5 infants and 3 children and there was plenty of space for all of us. They were even able to accommodate our request for 5 high chairs and 5 cots, which came in very handy. Agnès was incredibly helpful during our stay and responded quickly to our enquiries, even dropping by in person one day to help sort something out. I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups!

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you could need. The house is ideally situated in the countryside yet only 5 mins away from the enchanting bastide town of Monflanquin. At night from the Dining room you have a tremendous view of Monflanquin all lit up, it’s breathtaking. The hosts are so kind and friendly, it’s so very easy to relax here. This is a holiday home to remember.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.
