Absolutely blown away by our stay at this stunning villa in Séguret. The villa is spacious and filled with charm, perfectly nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Southern France. Our host Jean Luc was incredibly helpful in making recommendations and providing local tips to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. This has been one of the most memorable and magical stays we’ve ever had and we highly recommend this property.

We thank Fabrice for his welcome, kindness and flexibility. We had a great time with the family in this farmhouse, the setting is nice and peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and functional. The bedding is comfortable. We enjoyed our meals outside by the pool. Everything was perfect! Another big thank you to Fabrice, you can go there without a second thought!

This is a gem near Nimes. The accommodation was exactly as expected. Nelly gives suggestions on what to do nearby, the nearest supermarket and transportation tips. The garden and swimming pool are heavenly and very welcome during the hot days. Special mention for the house dog, Plume, who makes every guest feel at home immediately. Keep in mind that the streets around the residence and Nimes as a whole are not equipped for wide cars. If you have a wide car, you can go on foot (about 35 minutes) or by taxi/Uber to the city. Recommended!

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Absinthe with Caroline and Eric. Everything was perfect, the accommodation was as illustrated in the listing and met my expectations. The real plus: the swimming pool 2 steps from the accommodation to cool off after sunbathing. L'Absinthe is a small haven of peace where I found calm, comfort, serenity, sincerity, joy, tasteful decor, a peaceful garden with vegetable garden (too early to taste the tomatoes!) and lovely, responsive and caring hosts... Thank you. I would highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

The villa is surrounded by quintessential Provence countryside and the views are spectacular. The villa is very comfortable inside and is finished to a very high standard. The pool is large and the garden is beautifully maintained, making the outdoor spaces very pleasant to relax in. We were just a couple with a young baby, but the villa would be ideal for a larger group. The village of Villedieu is a short (5-10 min) walk down the hill, and is very pretty and peaceful. There is a nice square where you can sit and have a drink, and there is also an Epicerie for essentials. Other recommendations include: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (particularly Le Verger des Papes), Avignon and Pont du Gard, which are all within driving distance (45 mins to 1 hr). The host (Simon) also had some other good recommendations.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Very clean, functional and comfortable accommodation. Also with a nice character. Perfect location. Small 4km hike to access the Gard Bridge. Close to Uzès and Avignon. We are very happy with our stay.

Very nice Gite, Peaceful area near places of interest. Problem with pool was sorted immediately. Julie was very helpful and friendly.

Awesome character home on the vineyard. matches the photos perfectly, great access to the vineyard grounds where you can see chickens, horses and sheep as you walk around. Perfect for walking into town or day trips to Montpellier & Nimes. Ticked all the boxes for us.

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

The accommodation is very tastefully decorated. The large terrace above the river Sorgue with plenty of sun until the evening is great. The picturesque town with many restaurants and shops is a 10-minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Nicolas responded very quickly to our questions. The place is highly recommended!

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

The best place we have ever stayed at it had so much character was so big with a lake, a stream, a waterfall and huge rooms. It’s an old French house with stone floors and window shutters and massive ceilings. It has an orangey with table tennis in it. There is a large back garden with a swimming pool unfortunately we never got to use it as the weather was not quite hot enough. Absolutely magical I can’t believe how lucky we were to find it. Going to go again next year May with another family as it was so special.

Staying at Marines beautiful home was an absolute joy. We were a group of 12 (6 couples) and there’s not many places that have 6 en-suite bedrooms. The amenities there are fantastic but we mainly spent our time round the pool and eating outside as it has a great garden kitchen. Marine also organised a private chef to come in and cook for us one evening, Chef Pierre was amazing and can highly recommend him, she also arranged our transport back to the airport.! Marine is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for her. We had such a great time that we will be back next year.!

We had a great extended weekend, in peace. The house and its rose bushes are beautiful. Access to St Rémy on foot along the canal is lovely.

Our short stay here was wonderful. We communicated with Maïlys who was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. She met us at check in and check out and answered our questions so quickly throughout the stay. The place itself is brilliant. The air conditioning was very welcome as it was very hot during our stay. It struggled to reach the bedroom but it was still comfortable. The mattress was reasonably firm. The highlight for us was the natural pool. It was a beautiful temperature and there were so many dragonflies and insects chirping and you could hear the birds singing. We even saw a hoopoe! The rambunctious koi carp was friendly and loved to come for a gentle nibble. We loved it and thought it was charming! It was so fun swimming with it. We will miss the lovely fish. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. There was a washing machine with detergent which was great, we didn't figure out where to hang the washing (but we didn't ask, so that's on us).

This is a luxury property. It is beautifully landscaped and the pool was large and inviting. In fact we mixed our plans one day to chill outside. The kitchen has what is needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are more accommodating than a hotel room. The surrounding town is lovely. Quieter than others in Provence. We would definitely return and recommend. Andre was the consummate host.

Mélanie welcomed us incredibly well, with a warm smile on her face even though it was 10PM. From the beginning, she was helpful and kind, and showed us the entire accommodation in detail. In addition, both she and Monique had the whim of preparing a basket with delicacies and indicated the best places for the market and breakfast. The house is wonderful, you feel like you're in a movie. If I could, I would return every year to experience the atmosphere of the region as a local. I recommend it with no hesitation. Note: when I left, I forgot a ring in the accommodation, which was kindly found by the person who does the cleaning and delivered to the girls, who soon wrote to me asking if it belonged to a guest. With all the care and attention, they sent it to me by mail, an act I will never forget. Merci, girls <3

Excellent place, it looks even better in reality than in photos. It’s a stunning location, the accommodation is comfortable and clean, and the host is friendly. I travelled here with my friend and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Our family had a magical stay at the home. The private pool above the house on the hill made it feel like we were miles away from anyone else which made it feel extra special. The town is near enough for e-bikes or a short car ride in but far enough that it felt extra tranquil when retreating into our abode. I really want to thank the hosts who were very responsive and always ready to help.

Such a beautiful house and location, in rural surroundings. We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful to relax and unwind as a family and two dogs. This place ticked all of our boxes and more. The local village is 5 minutes drive away and has every amenity you could wish for. Thank you for hosting us - we will definitely recommend to our friends and family.
