Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Castelletto, Genoa

Alessandro's place is a real gem. Clean, quiet and well-private apartment. The terrace is great. Please note that there are no shops in the village, so bring food with you. The car is left in the village's common parking area, from which you can't drive into the village but walk uphill. This is the second time we've stayed here. Alessandro is a great host who responds to messages at lightning speed. Thank you!

Erika is very friendly and does her best to satisfy us: very clean and nicely decorated accommodation, functional with all the necessities, full of food and small touches, recommendations about everything that can be done in Genoa and in the surroundings, remains super available according to our needs, etc... Very nice to return to this quiet and green environment after being in the city. We traveled by bus and subway, leaving the car in the space reserved for it, it was very easy. Leaving the accommodation, we ventured into the hills taking a road indicated by Erika in front of the nearby restaurant, the view of the green hills, Genoa and the sea is superb.

Wonderful cottage with private outdoor space. Host had provided us with plenty of tips about the public transportation and amenities nearby. Bus stops practically in front of the door. In short, an ideal stay where we enjoyed ourselves.

Great location right in the middle of all the action in a cute small popular town. we loved having the balcony to enjoy the view during the stay. The beach right in front of the house does get crowded during the day and night. We didn't mind it at all and enjoyed it but something to consider if you are traveling in the high season and want more privacy.

Very clean and well-kept apartment, close to the subway (100 meters uphill). Very friendly and helpful host. The only drawback is the difficulty of parking, but I don't feel like lowering the rating of the apartment, both for the useful indications in this regard of the host, and for the common problem of the city (the lack of parking is typical in Genoa...).

This was the best house I've ever experienced on airbnb!First of all, the house is very artistic and Italian, whether it is a marble floor, or the decorations of the apartment, or the interiors of the ancient furniture, full of character, full of humanity and artistic colors, and even give me new inspiration for my own house decoration.Secondly, Elisabetta himself was warm and thoughtful, took care of it, not only gave us details about the use and details of the house, but also prepared breakfast for us, which was very, very thankful for her!Finally, Genoa is indeed a beautiful and charming port city, and if you are here, don't miss the square in the city center and the nearby Portofino, it is so heartening.

Maria & Markus' accommodation is in a super central and very convenient location for touring the historic center of Genoa and visiting the Aquarium (5-minute walk). The apartment was clean and complete with everything. Maekus was always available and kind to recommend places to eat and visit. I highly recommend this place!

The listing was as expected. Clean, quiet and well-equipped. It is located on the heights of Genoa, which offers a beautiful view of the city, but is far from the city center. But the latter remains very easily accessible by bus (stop at the foot of the building). We didn't have a car but the 2 nearest train stations are within walking distance (Gare Principe) or by bus (Gare Principe and Gare Brignole) which allowed us to leave Genoa to discover the surroundings (Portofino, the beaches to the east of Genoa such as Bogliasco or Boccadasse…). Communication with the owners was very easy because Cécile responded to messages quickly by giving clear and accurate information. I would this property.

A great place for a weekend in Genoa. Close to supermarkets, the old town, walkable to the train station. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with knives, pans, plates etc. It does get quite noisy at night from nearby bars, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend earplugs. The steps up to the sleeping area are quite steep and narrow, so it could be a concern for those with accessibility needs. Otherwise, this place is perfect and we had a great stay.

Paola's graciousness and patience with our time delays lightened our burden. Her warm greeting and accommodating manner put us at ease. The location met our needs - quiet, yet active, and a great escape from the busier aspects of Genoa.

Gian was very flexible for our check-in as we were stuck in traffic. Thank you for this. The accommodation was surprisingly well located, Gian and Roberta Könnens would like to advertise more for it. Even though we were only a power, we found ourselves very welcome.

We stayed at Barbara's house for 2 days and immediately felt at home. Barbara, knowing that we had a child, came to pick us up at the station and accompanied us home. The house is not exactly in the center, but it is well connected, and there is a bus stop in front of the house. Super clean and cozy. Maybe one day we'll come back. Thank you Barbara.

We had a lovely stay at Giuseppe and Valeria's. Very nice accommodation with its large terrace in the heart of old Genoa. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped . Giuseppe is very available to advise vacationers and in the event of any problems. Really perfect. We'll be happy to go back. 😍

Adelmo and Clarissa were fantastic hosts! Before we had even arrived in Genoa, they were in contact making sure we knew exactly how to get to the apartment, and provided an extensive list of local recommendations for restaurants and sights to enjoy. Their place was easy to reach from the San Giorgio metro station, and we later found out just as easy from the Piazza de Ferrari station as well. Overall we loved the location, the apartment, and you would be hard pressed to find more responsive hosts! We definitely recommend!

We had a pleasant stay in a peaceful environment. The appartement is spacious, clean and colourful. We would definitely recommend staying at Elsa's place. The communication was easy and friendly.

More or less the same as previous comments, which described very well every aspect of this place. Nice home, clean, comfortable bed, everything in order. Good position to move around on foot, lots of bars, restaurants, and other places around. Valerio is a great host, helpful, available, and with lots of useful advice for places to visit. Not a crowded part of the centre during the night, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs, as it could happen that there is traffic around early in the morning. Would definitely stay again.
