Was a great check in with John who gave clear instructions and a brief intro to the apartment. It’s an historic building nestled in a beautiful secluded spot but immediately accessible to Stroud including a walkable supermarket. This is the kind of AirBnb that spoils it for others! Spacious, friendly, helpful hosts, a parking place— all in one package. Had the weather been even better we could have more enjoyed the terrific covered deck overlooking a garden and a great view across the valley.

We had a great three day break. We chose that location as we wanted to be middle way of The Gloucester & Sharpness Canal as we wanted to cycle it all, which we did. The patio / pond area was a delight after a day out and with a glass of wine. The place was clean and spacious. We were grateful that we could put the bikes in the garage. Thank you Ralph for your friendly welcome and the loaf of freshly baked bread. We loved it.

Heidi is a friendly and helpful host with good tips for the area and even gets you started with some cereal. It's a good 20 min walk into Stroud from here, partly through parks which makes it enjoyable. I also explored the Cotswolds from here, with a max. 1 hr drive to all the picturesque places to visit (North and South) which was perfect to me. Added bonus for me was that I cuddle the doggos! 🐶🐶
