We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Our stay at Casa dos Mirtilos in Germil was truly wonderful. Such a beautiful, peaceful location on the outskirts of a charming mountain village. Perfect for wildlife lovers. The garden was full of birdsong and butterflies, we even had breakfast visit from a pine marten! Bring your binoculars. There are lots of paths and quiet mountain roads for walking. Daniela was a brilliant host and was very responsive to messages and gave us good recommendations for local gastronomic delights. We had a wonderful week and would encourage anyone who loves being out in nature to stay at Casa do Mirtilos. Thank you Daniela.

It was an amazing experience, better than we expected! We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend and Quinta das Tendas was undoubtedly a great option, the silence of nature is what dominates the space! The conditions are impeccable, everything was as described in the listing. Mr. Luís is very friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat and to recommend, without a doubt ☺️🌿

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

A great home to explore the Geres area and park. Beautiful view from the porch, convenient living room and a kitchen with everything you will need for a short or long stay. The bedrooms are spacious and linen comfortable. The house was spotless clean and Margarida was quick to respond to any question we had. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Geres area.

The stadium was great, I would just recommend that they explain the location better, since the directions given did not take us to the house, we had to consult Booking. They could also have specified where the firewood and charcoal were. Kind Regards

As far as we're concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk within a minute to the underlying lake where you can enjoy swimming! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is 1.5 hours away and is well worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation to recharge for a week in nature. The host is also very nice, her father welcomed us nicely, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

The apartment was clean, organized and very cozy, I felt at home. I found it well-equipped with what we need for a weekend. The outdoor area is undoubtedly the best environment, lots of shade, and there is a small waterfall right next to the property. I'll be back soon, and I highly recommend the place.

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would have liked to have realized from the description that the outdoor area is far from the house.

We travelled in a group of 5 , 2 couples +1 adult. The host living in the next house seems only speak Portuguese but very friendly. You can write in English via messaging apps. Communication was not an issue at all

Very nice apartment with great views of the mountains. Just in case, there would be the oven - we didn't need it. But the bright living room with either open or closed glass front is simply the hit. Very tranquil place in a special village. Good starting point for outdoor activities. If you like rural Portugal in the mountains, this is the place to be!

What a WONDERFUL stay at this charming farmhouse! From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The property is so beautiful with its lovely gardens, fruit trees & the view of the mountains. We spent the majority of our time, when we were not out exploring, enjoying the pool & having all our dinners outside under the covered outdoor grilling area. We took advantage of the grill & enjoying pizza (yes, there is a fabulous pizza oven!). The house was so comfortable, clean & the kitchen had everything we needed & more. Carlos & Christina are stunning hosts....so kind & friendly & gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area...restaurants, villages, waterfalls, etc. We CAN'T WAIT to return! Obrigada for a wonderful stay! (note - if you are driving be mindful as directly accessing the property can be tight if you have a larger car)

We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

Perfect for a private peaceful getway! It is located is a small village, but still very quiet. The view is amazing and the place is comfortable and full of light! We walked 2 minutes down the to swim in the river every morning. The owner is very responsive and aways helpful.

We lived here for a week and felt very comfortable. Diana and her husband were very friendly and not intrusive. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. For tours in the national park, driving short distances by car - that was perfect. Thank you very much for cake and wine👍

Accommodation with great conditions to receive 5 people. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated with a phenomenal view of the Cávado River. Well-equipped kitchen. We were able to prepare full meals without any problems. The location, right by the river, allows us to be surrounded by nature. The host's readiness to answer any questions or requests throughout the stay should be highlighted.

This was the most magical place we have ever stayed. I've never gone somewhere and not wanted to leave and explore. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you so much for the amazing stay, things couldnt have been more perfect 🙏

D. Natália was absolutely incredible. Always available for any help and very friendly, leaving us completely at ease! The house is much better than we expected. The rooms are more spacious than they appear in the photos, and the garage has been transformed into a mini game room that got a lot of laughs from our group of friends, with foosball and arrows. The space was very clean, the house warm and very sanitized. In the same way, we had at our availability all possible amenities, from electronic equipment, kitchen utensils, bath towels etc. Great in every way and an unforgettable weekend. Clearly, we'll be back.

You can't sit anywhere nicer than here. The cottage has many terrace options so you can enjoy the area endlessly. Even though you are on the property of the owners, we have been given all the privacy and were always alone at the pool. We stayed here for eight nights with a baby and had all the comforts (co-sleeper with aerosol, baby bath), the house itself is also very clean. The house is located near the nature park in a beautiful area and near the village Terras de bouro, where you have restaurants and supermarket. Nearby are also many fun, not super busy, tourist things to do. The advertisement describes that it is located in Vila Verde, this was a 20-minute drive.
