Countryside Cottage

ToniRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We were in town for our grandsons 2nd birthday. This beautiful cottage was perfect for us to retreat to once his party was over. There were 8 of us that stayed and it was very comfortable and cozy for all. We were able to have son and family over that evening, decorated cookies for Christmas (an annual family tradition), played available on site card game, and fellowship together along with making many priceless memories together that will forever be treasured. Highly recommend this cottage and the hosts! They definitely went above and beyond to make sure all that would be needed was there for us. If back in this area, this will be where we stay!! :)

Tiny home Étoile steps from Lake Sam Rayburn

StaceyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The trip was a girl's trip, we enjoyed every minute of it. The tiny home had everything we needed. Samantha and Mark were great hosts very knowledgeable of the area, friendly and helpful from answering questions, bringing an air pump to us, taking pictures and videos for us and always with a smile. There was a problem with the AC drain and they were on top of it. Response time said within 40 minutes, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes very responsive. We decided to try kayaking and Mark was great explaining how and very patient . We had the beach to ourselves while we were there. We visited Lufkin and Nachadoches both are under a 30 minute drive from where we were staying. We will definitely be back and hopefully for a longer stay.

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

Hallsville Hideaway

KelsieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at this beautiful, newly built home in Hallsville! It has amazing curb appeal, a large garage, and cute farmhouse-style decor. The open-concept kitchen and living room made it easy for everyone to hang out together. We loved relaxing on the back porch, watching birds and enjoying the peaceful woods behind the house. All the beds were super comfortable, and the master bathroom shower had the best water pressure of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. No need to wash my hair in the kitchen sink this time! Being able to park in the garage was a nice bonus. A couple of small things (like the front lights and bathroom fan) weren’t working, but the host responded quickly and said they’d be fixed. Overall, a lovely place that made our trip to the Great Texas Hot Air Balloon Race even better!

King Beds/Workstation/Patio/Firepit/Espresso

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at this property while our daughter was at Josey Ranch for her week long barrel racing school. We enjoyed the welcoming layout and all the things we needed to cook breakfast and have coffee in the morning. I wish the weather would have been more cooperative so we could have enjoyed the back yard because it was lovely! The home was clean and cool-which in June is super important in Texas! We especially enjoyed the amazing water pressure in the shower after long hot days at the Josey Ranch sweating and doing horse chores. Courtney and Shane gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and every one we tried we enjoyed. Communication was suburb making check in and check out easy and smooth. I highly recommended staying here if you need a home away from home in Marshall.
