We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s place! The cottage was decorated wonderfully, was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a terrific stay! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Rachel’s! There was ample space for our family of 4. Rachel and Brandon did everything they could to make us feel at home, including providing restaurant recommendations and ordering our kids toys for the sand! We had the best time!

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

We had a magical weekend retreat at Jennifer’s Glass House. It was so peaceful, the unique architecture was perfect for taking in the sights and sounds of nature—the view from inside the Glass House was jaw dropping. Jennifer was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The bed was supremely comfortable and the bedding had a luxe feel. There were thoughtful places to sit, swing, or lie down throughout the property. While the kitchen is more limited, we were able to cook everything we needed, making food outdoors was divine. The bathrooms were spotless, if a bit of a walk to take in the middle of the night (but no different from other glamping facilities). We were lucky to have the entire Grove area to ourselves so it was especially comfortable as we didn’t have to navigate around other occupants. Loved the pool and hot tub area, a really charming experience. Overall it’s the perfect place for a quiet retreat off-grid, to recharge in an ideal glamping situation. We can’t wait to be back.

The cutest perfect getaway spot!! We didn't want to leave. 5 minute drive to some really great restaurants and shopping. Stunning hiking trails not too far of a walk or a quick drive away. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a weekend escape!!

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara. Location, vibes, immaculately clean, stocked with everything you need. We really enjoyed the record player and the sunny deck for morning yoga. Would stay again, 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay at this very cute and cozy cottage. It was a very peaceful location and close by a beautiful Walking trail. It had all of the amenities, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.

Darrell’s place is in an unbeatable location — literally right on the beach! Out of all the options I looked at, this was by far the most affordable, and it exceeded expectations. It’s a private studio cottage (not a full house), located downstairs a massive balcony that directly overlooks the ocean. Super peaceful, with nothing but the sound of the waves right in front of you. Go to sleep so peaceful! The space was very clean and had everything we needed, including a smart TV with all the streaming apps — perfect for a relaxing night in. The unit is pet-friendly, which we appreciated! We also loved the neighborhood — it’s quiet, safe, and walkable, with a grocery store and restaurants just steps away. Darrell was a fantastic host and even left us wine and h20. Such a nice sweet surprise!! We will be back!

Overall we had a great stay at this property. It is private and quiet, within walking distance of Summerland town strip and is just a short drive to state street. I encourage renting Gillian’s room to anyone looking for an affordable stay in summerland! The dog bed was a nice touch for our dog as well!

This place was exactly as described and exactly what I was looking for . Anne has really gone out of the way to make this a truly charming get away retreat. Already planning my next trip back. Thank You Anne.

Beautiful casita next to the big house. The vineyard nearby is beautiful to drive along and its central between two towns. Lovely stay.

Nice, clean accommodations. I would describe the place more as a guest house than a home as it is attached to the main house to which the owner (Darren) resides. There is also another studio-type accommodation attached to the "house." Both were non-issues as they were quiet and rarely seen from the "house." We travel with our dogs and the backyard was great for them...quiet, large, clean, and private. Easy walk (~10 min) to Butterfly beach from the "house" as well as to town. The bedroom is bright due to the skylights so if you are a late sleeper, it may impact you. The bed was softer than my wife and I prefer. Overall a nice place!

This was a 10/10 stay. The cottage was absolutely magical and Ronald and Elle were very flexible, communicative and thoughtful. The cottage is bright, cozy and the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers and lemons as well as water and some toast for breakfast. :) Definitely book your stay here if you are in the area! Would come back for sure.

Second time staying at this house, and just as great as the first time. Fabulous location, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked. Great for our two kids--6 and 9--too. A wonderful experience.

Wonderful stay! The cottage was exactly as described. There’s even a washer and dryer (with detergent) that came in handy. Louis & Suk are kind and very responsive, even when I had questions before arrival. I would definitely stay there again.

I loved staying here! Felt like home and the perfect "nook" for peace, while still being able to walk to restaurants nearby :) The bed was very comfortable! I loved that they had an AC unit and heater available! The kitchen is really cute as well with k cups for coffee and water available! I would definitely love to stay here again :)

Kathy was a great host and her home is wonderful. The location is fantastic, very close to both the beach and downtown Santa Barbara. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The road by this place has an amazing view of the water. The place was neat and clean. Aidan was very responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Santa Barbara.

This house is one of 3 remaining of 12 identical houses moved there in 1940 to be employee housing for the married workers on the Adohr Dairy Farm, at one time the world’s largest Guernsey herds and one of the largest dairies in the world at the time. The single workers lived in bunkhouses up nearer the office. The houses were moved here from a military base. This area was referred to as Adohr Village. When we lived here in 1964-65 the houses rented for $25 per month. There are limited amenities, we had no coffee and only salt & pepper, but it is balanced out by the unique rural location. Much easier to locate in daylight, and down a bumpy dirt road.

We loved our stay here. We came to road bike with another couple and had the best time on and off the bike. The property was lovely and comfortable and we especially enjoyed riding up the lane at the end of a long ride. Also loved watching the horses, being greeted by Dexter's wagging tail, and hearing a Great Horned Owl hooting every night. Riding your beach cruisers to Lefty's every morning to get coffee was also a fun treat. We felt immediately at home and would definitely recommend this property.

The cottage was a perfect home base for our weekend getaway. Very comfortable and cozy! Also very private, quiet and peaceful! Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great place to stay. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are super comfy. Elíza was very responsive. Only thing is there’s no AC which you normally don’t need but we were there on a particularly hot weekend.
