Morning in a yurt in Palkovice

Unconventional accommodation, perfect for families with children. 2 yurts - incl. fully equipped kitchen. One for 8 people, the other for 4 people. We are committed to environmental sustainability, so the toilets are compostable and the shower is a bucket shower (you’ll be amazed at how wonderfully you can shower in a bucket of warm water). There is a large garden. In the garden, we have a fire pit with seating, a sandbox, swings, a gazebo, and willow huts. There is a car park for 7 cars in front of the yurts. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags; adults must bring their own sleeping pads.

You are surrounded by tranquility: there is no electricity, no gadgets, the water comes from a garden shower, you can see Lake Balaton from the shower. In the morning, the sun's rays wake you up, you can share the leftovers with the animals that also live here (deer, badgers, lizards). You can throw the paper on the evening campfire, you only produce metal and plastic waste. It's a wonderful feeling: to go on vacation with a fraction of your ecological footprint!

Step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in our unique accommodation! In addition to our renovated farmhouse in Ásványráró, in the heart of Szigetköz, our accommodation has been expanded with a special glamping yurt, which offers a comfortable and close-to-nature experience. The unit provides pleasant accommodation for up to 4 people on 35 m2. Through the motorized skylight (skylight), you can admire the starry sky at night and wake up with the rising sun in the morning.

Our yurt is located directly on the Danube bank. It is suitable for both winter and summer to snuggle, retreat, and enjoy the proximity of the water and the mountains. The yurt is insulated, heated, cooled, and has a kitchen and bathroom, so you can enjoy the proximity of nature in complete comfort. We've created a special place where you can watch the stars from the bed. When designing the garden, it was important to preserve the natural state, so the grass is mowed in an environmentally friendly way.

The national blue hiking trail passes this 2.5-hectare land and you can reach in less than 5kms the Roman waterfall walking by the Gaja stream. Easy access by car, 1.5 hours from Budapest, 30 minutes from Veszprém, and 40 minutes to Lake Balaton. The yurt is very modern, with all amenities available. Surrounded by an in-progress permaculture garden and the Bakony forest.

Handmade, 4- person YURT surrounded by nature!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Sleep under the stars in our handmade yurt, and enjoy extra activities in Serbia's wilderness. Everything wooden, natural and handmade! While you are here, I provide extra activities such as hikes on the mountain, preparing food on the fire, bow and arrow shooting practice with my handmade bow, as well as rowing with my wooden canoe at a lake close-by. You can also go for a swim in the Drina river wich is 1km from our campsite.

It's easily accessible by car.

A hot,wood-heated salt bath is not available currently.
