Chalet vacation rentals in Carpathian Mountains

Very atmospheric. We got the most out of this trip, thanks to this house. We enjoyed our stay very much. We hope to visit in the summer.

My friends and I had the pleasure of spending 2 days here during the May Day - definitely too short, you would like more :) The off-road transport to the cottage itself was a great experience. Extremely atmospheric house, located in the heart of the forest, close to the yellow trail to Turbacz. The cottage is well-equipped, but we spent most of our time on the terrace enjoying the silence and fresh air. We highly recommend it as a starting point as well as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city - we will definitely come back :)

Really quiet and peaceful location, near a forest, we even saw a fox on our first day. We had a little trouble finding it but fortuantely it is a little bit further from the busy and loud main street. The house is really rustic, everything is made out of wood and we enjoyed the fireplace every evening when it got a little cold. We had no trouble finding things to do, there is a market, the national park, really good restaurants and many other things. The internet was really slow so maybe bring a book or two for the evenings. The hostess was really friendly and helped us with anything we needed, she also replied really quickly. Will definiately come back, thank you! :)

Nestled in an idyllic area, this place is an absolutely gem of a spot for hiking in the national park. Highly recommend a trip to the castle and the Spartacus trail, both of which can be done from the doorstep!

Stayed for a few nights and it was fab. The place is exactly as described. The location is stunning. Diana is a fab host and everything was straightforward and easy. The location of the house is worth the visit to Bran. Stunning views. The property has everything you need and was immaculately kept. Wouldn't worry about the road up to the property as we managed fine in a 2 wheel drive hire car and it snowed. Will visit again if we are ever in the Bran area.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa in Șimon, Romania! The location is absolutely breathtaking, nestled right on the mountainside with incredible views all around. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and very well-equipped — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Everything was just right for a memorable vacation. Just a small note: since the villa is located on a hill, there are quite a few stairs, which might be a bit challenging for elderly guests. But aside from that, everything was truly excellent!

Beautiful cabin and breathtaking surroundings. The rooms are spacious, and the morning views are just gorgeous. The terrace is roomy, and the barbecue area is well-organized and nicely maintained. It's conveniently close to restaurants and, of course, the famous Bran Castle. The host was friendly, responsive, and genuinely tried to make sure we had everything we needed. For us, it truly felt like the perfect place for a special occasion.

Stayed here with five guys from Canada at the end of a short Europe trip. We had an amazing time using the facilities at the lodge and there’s much to explore in the surrounding area. Rastislav was easy to communicate with and made our stay super relaxing and easy. Would absolutely stay again!

The house was exactly as described online, and we were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness and services of it. The communication with the owner was perfect. Our group of 10 adults, 5 children and 1 dog felt very comfortable as the house is spacious. We would like to also highlight that they left a lot of coffee for us, which was a nice surprise, and they were flexible with the checkout time. It is a stunning location with many things to do nearby. We are so happy we chose this accomodation and will be sure to recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Jan and Janka! A dream of a chalet, we were there for 7 and we enjoyed every moment, whether hot tub, fireplace, pool table or barbecue, everything was great and was provided and prepared by Jan. On the day of arrival, Jan even gave us a bottle of wine and coffee as a welcome gift and the Wihrlpool was already preheated. You can also vacation here with family and children, as Jan also has children's toys, a small playground and other things for children. The ski slope could be reached from here in 10 minutes by car. We would visit this place again anytime and highly recommend!

Every was as per description/ pictures. Nice location, even if a car is mandatory in order to get there. Beautifully furnished and with all the amenities needed for our stay. We had a very nice stay and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Everything was perfect.

The house of Jadwiga is exactly the same as in the photos, but even better. The first thing you notice is that the house is bigger than in the photos. The kitchen area is perfect for big companies, great variety and number of kitchen utilities, you will find everything you need for cooking indoors and outdoors (barbeque) and easily serving the food for 14 people and more. Children enjoyed the swimming pool and playground near the house. Parking space was enough for our 3 cars. Supermarket is 10 minutes from the house by car.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Tapolca! Judit was a great host, who met us when we arrived after giving clear instructions, showed us the house and gave recommendations for the area. She answered us very quickly with each inquiry and the check out process was just as efficient. You definitely need a car as the town is quite small, so to explore more of the other towns its a huge benefit as we didn't see much public transport. And there are plenty of spaces to park close to the house. It was a perfect little get away stay and it had all the facilities you might need. It is probably even better during the warmer summer/spring months but even in chilly February it was a great location that kept us warm and toasty.

We had a fantastic week in Chalet Jasna. It is decorated to a high standard and feels very cozy and the perfect temperature all week! It felt very private, we weren’t aware of anyone else in the building. It had everything we needed for the week and Erik was very responsive with any questions we had. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance and a big supermarket was only 10 mins away. An excellent location if skiing in Jasna, the buses are very frequent and the busy stop is right outside the door. There is a lovely ski locker just beside the bus stop which is very convenient with all your ski stuff. We would thoroughly recommend this flat, thank you for having us!

This is a fabulous retreat and Catalin a fabulous host . It was a hot day and having air conditioning in the room was definitely very welcome . We went into town for dinner ( 20 minute drive ) and then sat looking over the Lake at sunset . Highly recommend Catalin and this air bnb as a place to stay .

Very nice host. Very good contact. He was interested in us during his stay, asking if everything was great. The place is very sophisticated. The location and the building itself are impressive. Nice adventure to live in a boat like this. It was a very nice surprise when we had to stop staying due to the illness of the children, and the host refunded us some of the funds (despite the fact that the listing was non-refundable). I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

The house is beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very beautiful view of the lake. We found the fire burning before arriving. The house was warm and the host received us with an excellent reception. The house is clean and beautiful and has all the necessities except a water kettle. We did not find it. Other things are excellent and available.
