This Grade 2 listed traditional quarryman’s Welsh cottage is incredibly fortunate to be located within 2 minutes of Zip World Velocity and is perfect for exploring North Wale’s wildest mountain scenery. The cottage has been completely renovated and also features a beautiful sunny garden and patio with plenty of space to sit and relax outside. Bethesda village centre is within walking distance and has a Tesco supermarket (open 7 days a week until late), pubs and a good choice of takeaways.

Welcome to converted chalet located at the bottom of our garden at the foot of the Carneddau Mountain Range in Bethesda. It contains a small kitchen with all basic utensils, pots, pans, kettle, toaster and electric hobs. We also supply tea, coffee and fresh milk + towels. It is a stones throw away from the famous 'Zipworld' (15 min walk) as well as the Glyderau mountain range(10 / 25 min ), and a short drive from Snowdon (15 min). Perfect location to experience Snowdonia.

Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. The cottage has lovely original features, such as the charming staircase, exposed stone inglenook fireplace with log burning stove & wooden floorboards. Quality cooker, fridge and kitchen items. Sleeping 2 in a super king Feather & Black bed with Emma mattress, a z-bed is available if requested for a young child.

Bank's Cottage - Unspoilt by Progress...

A converted quarryman's cottage from around 1870, situated in upper Rachub, in the foothills of Snowdonia: Bank's Cottage has stunning views from the main accommodation, taking in most of Anglesey from a viewpoint over 700 feet above sea-level. We're a two-minute drive from Zip World and walks and climbing in the glorious Carneddau are literally out back of the property: the Snowdonia National Park begins fifty metres the other side of our garden wall.
