This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. Woodpecker Glen is a brand-new guest house in one of Washington's temperate rain forests. The house has a cabin feel with cathedral ceiling and open floor plan plus lots of natural light in a peaceful, quiet location. The back yard is Tolt MacDonald Park, 574 acres, a favorite for mountain bikers and trail walkers alike. All of this and still less than 11 miles to Redmond (think Microsoft), 26 miles to Seattle downtown. Winter skiing and summer alpine hiking are only 20 to 50 miles away.

Forest n Pond Tiny Cabin

Relax out in the woods! This is a one room cabin fully set up for a single guest. There is a double hot-eye burner for cooking. There is a coffee-maker and water boiler for tea. One twin bed and floor pad by request. Comes with WIFI, and usually around two to four bars of cell service depending on your carrier. There is a small hot water tank, so quick 5 minute showers. View of a nice yard and pond which sometimes has blue heron and wild ducks. The morning birds sound incredible.
