Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Carmen Beach

The studio was nice and we enjoyed staying there. The host was very kind and responsive. We recommend this studio especially for those who are looking for a quiet accomondation in Santa Teresa. A car (4x4) is an advantage as the road up there is quite steep and can be slippery in the rain. However, it is also possible to visit the center on foot (approx 10-15 minutes walk).

The accommodation is located a few meters from the main street of Santa Teresa. The location is excellent. It is in front of the best beach in Santa Teresa which has the best sunsets. It's in a very quiet area. In our case, we value that it's not in a noisy place, but a few blocks from all restaurants and bars. Also, it has a supermarket a block away. For two people, the accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is very complete and can be cooked. Being a jungle area, it is inevitable that there are some bugs. The balcony is like it looks in the pictures. The water pressure in the bathroom is not very strong but it works fine. The air and fans worked well so we didn't suffer from the heat. Very important. If you are looking for something close to the beach in the center of Sta Teresa, it's a great option. Franco was always available. Recommended

We had an amazing stay at Irinas apartment! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Short walk to shops and the beach!

Well, I am one of the first to review this space so I will add a little more than the normal brief review so you know what to expect… lots of pros, no big cons really. As of this writing this place is basically brand new - probably finished in the past few months. There are still manufacturer stickers on things. Completely pristine. Good workmanship. Bathroom is perfect. Bedroom is perfect - bed is a bit firm but a lot of people like that. I slept well. The bedroom is air conditioned and well-sealed to the outside. The “hanging out space” is fully outside - so the kitchen and living area.. so don’t expect air conditioning in that area. That did not bother me but might not work for some groups. It’s really cute and very nice to sit outside and hear the monkeys and watch the world go by. Right next to a bakery. Short walk to restaurants and a medium sized grocery store. Can also walk to the beach - 7-10 minutes. Hosts were very nice and helpful and we used translator app to chat.

We stayed a week and really enjoyed the place. The kindness and responsiveness of the hosts is remarkable (they are also good tips for things to do/see/and food recommendations). Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Loved this airbnb and Eden was an amazing host!! The location is super ideal - central, walkable to everything, but tucked away enough that you don’t hear much noise from the street. As a solo traveler, i felt safe and secure in the airbnb, air conditioning was strong and the place was clean! Linens + beach towels provided which was nice and i could work from the airbnb with no problem. Highly recommend!

If you find availability to book this slice of paradise, don’t hesitate. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 month and Betty is literally the best host you could ask for. She will always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is more comfortable and accommodate your needs. I was working remotely here and was worried about the wifi and Betty went ahead and upgraded the internet to the highest speed to accommodate me and it was perfect for work. Betty’s place is perfectly located in the best part of Santa Teresa, just far enough from the dust and noise of the strip to have peace. It’s a short 7 min walk to the beach and the walk back is uphill (ATV recommended) but is worth the spectacular view. The place is very clean and well designed, with fans provided. One of my favourite things to do was watch the sunrise from the property’s helicopter landing pad in the morning. There is a worker onsite that helps with cleaning and made the place feel secure. This place is a hidden gem.

An excellent choice at a reasonable price. The accommodation is true to its description and photographs. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Adema is located in an ideal point (close to good gastronomy and the beach) but far from the noise. They have a parking lot and the pool is bigger than it looks. We had no problem with anything. Rodrigo was super friendly and attentive at all times.

Linette and Dan were wonderful hosts. Both were so warm. Linette immediately welcomed me to her home and provided a mini tour. She gave my her phone number in case I had questions. Dan showed off his garden and all the fruit trees. It was such a great experience. Linette provided instructions on how to walk to the beach. Find the yellow Catholic Church and take the road turning left all the way down. They live about a 10 minute walk from the beach. They also have so much nature on their property in the mangroves. You'll see large fish swimming, and little crabs. please be aware that you're sharing the property with Linette and Dan. they won't be in your way :) if anything, provide fresh fruit to you!

We stayed for one 1 month at Joe's place and what can I say, it was awesome. Joe himself is very kind, responsive and super chilled. He even made food for us and invited us to hang out with his friends and come to party. The hospitality was incredible. The place itself was beautiful. It is the middle of the jungle, surrounded by fruit trees, palm trees and cool animals. Very private as well. In the middle is a pool and a community place where people come together and hang out. I loved the kitchen at our house, the big fridge, the balcony and everything else. I also had a special request about synthetic fragrances where Joe made sure they avoid it before I come and I’m really thankful for that. The beach is right in front of the house, a little grocery store 5min walk and Santa Teresa is like 5min by car. The people in Costa Rica are also very friendly and kind. I can highly recommend staying at Joe's place. Thank you Joe!!

Great place

This is the only place we love to stay at in ST! It's perfect for our family of 5. Best things about it are the location-it is steps from the beach and our favorite beach bar Rocamar, proximity to Hermosa beach where our kids surf, and we also love the daily cleaning. We will be back!

Manzanillo is a gem of a spot, very easy to walk to local food and small grocer, beach is a short walk away. Elias was very helpful with any issues we needed sorting out. I would definitely go back and stay again!

We’ve had a great time at the Jungle House and with Caroline herself. It’s exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. However the thing that stood out the most was that Caroline went above and beyond and gave us the best experience possible. Not only did she answer every single question I had quickly and gave us local recommendations but also let us check out late when there wasn’t anyone else staying there after us. I would highly recommend the Jungle House to everyone!

Two wonderful nights in Cnthya's home, she and her husband are kind and welcoming. We wanted to extend more nights! They recommended activities with discounted prices, we had our best time in the pool. Cinthya is really smiling and loves to help, it was our best experience, it's amazing!

It was a wonderful stay at Pachamamas. Hannah spread the PuraVida-Vibe right from the beginning and was a very charming host. She was very helpful with booking some activities, which all were perfectly organized, and left no wish unfulfilled. Also our children (5 and 8) had a great time in the stunning garden areal. There was a very laid back atmosphere and we enjoyed our little house with the outside shower and dining area very much. We have to recommend a yoga class with Sophie as well. If you stay at this nice place be sure to have a 4/4 drive to get to some of the beaches or short way to Montezuma and the Cabo Blanco national park.

Everything was fine, only the little detail that bothered us in terms of health, that smoking is allowed in the facilities and the smell is quite uncomfortable and unpleasant both in the pool and in the apartment. However, Priscila was attentive to give us answers at all times.

Very quiet place, surrounded by nature and exactly as in the photos, jacuzzi and appliances work perfectly.

This our 3rd trip to Jaco and Bahia Encantada. We’ve stayed in multiple units and this unit has met our expectations. The location is perfect, and the condo had everything we needed.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described if not better. The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Communication with John was flawless; he was responsive, helpful, and made everything super easy. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time. First option if go back again
