Cabin vacation rentals in Cariboo

Rhonda was an excellent host and very thoughtful. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and she gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The hot tub was excellent and the comfortable cabin was a great place to be away from the world for a holiday.

Was so nice the deck being right on lake. There is alot of wildlife on lake was so nice to just sit and watch . Very peaceful and the quiet even road behind was nice quiet didn't take away from tranquility of the property.

This area is pristine, so peaceful and tranquil. Just what we needed. We got to enjoy the horses next door, seen plenty of black tailed deer, cranes right on the road, cows just a pasture over. It was so quiet, the view was beautiful. If you love nature, serenity and peacefulness........this place is for you. Just be warmed in the spring (wetter months) there are sooo many bugs, mosquitos and flies. Bring bug spray. Really fantastic cabin stocked quite well with amenities. We really loved our stay. Would totally recommend.

Amber really went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and was extremely pleasant to communicate with. Her home is exactly as described - so beautiful, relaxing and clean. This was such a wonderful experience and stay all in all, we highly recommend Amber’s place and will most definitely be back to visit in the near future! 10/10!!

Colin and his wife Shilo are really Sympathic Hosts. They are so friendly and ever helpfull. We enjoyed our stay absolutely. As soon as I pulled in the very easy to find driveway later in the evening, and was welcomed by the warm glow of twinkly lights strung across the front porch, and treed privacy all around, I just knew what waited for me inside would exceed any expectation that I had! What I loved was the spacious interior (which my Great Pyrenees boy appreciated too), the impressive well stocked kitchen to make your country cooking dreams come true, all the rustic wood accents to keep it a cozy cabin feel, and the wood stove (with a generous pile of seasoned wood), that I Iit every night! I had amazing sleeps in the comfy plush queen bed that made it difficult to want to get out of bed in the morning. Pillows were soft and plump. One of the perks I really appreciated was having a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Hot water for the roomy shower was plentiful and there was a towel supply to last a month! This place has everything and then some. Just bring food and clothing! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the ranch. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, we added a second night with little notice and they helped us book. We ended up getting in quite late both nights and the hosts were there to greet us and make sure we got in ok. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings! Thank you for having us!

The place has everything you need and is only steps away from the lake. Barbara and her husband were great hosts providing local and surrounding area recommendations. They even lent me a shovel to dig up wildflowers along the FSRs. Their two dogs are very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The listing says cabin, and given the remote area, we were expecting rustic and possibly no running water. Pleasant surprise when we arrived and found a beautiful little space with not only running water, but multiple heating types (electric and wood stove), wifi, coffee maker and teapot with coffee and tea, and a small fridge. Tom was an amazing host. We told Tom we'd be arriving late (after dark) which in the interior of BC is really dark. Tom kept an eye out for us, met us in the driveway, and got us acquainted with the place. He couldn't have been more gracious and helpful.

Colleen has a wonderful property, great place to fish and relax. The bakery was delicious! We had a great time!

It was an amazing time in such a beautiful, cozy home! Even though the weather wasn't perfect - we had a great time: cooking, eating dinners, hanging out with our friends, playing games and watching movies, BBQing outside and despite the rain we kayaked, paddle boarded (courtesy of Tracy) and even tried fishing! Building itself and housekeeping are very well organized: everything new, kitchen, bathrooms are professionally equipped and nice and easy to use!

This place was great! Just what we were looking for. Super clean and quiet, in a beautiful rural location. Jonathan thought of everything for the guests, kitchen is well stocked with tools, pans and every appliance imaginable. Better equipped than my own kitchen! Beds were super comfortable, lots of clean linen and towels. Soooo relaxing to sit on the veranda with a coffee. The cabin seems new with lots of lovely wood finishing and both a real wood stove, and a gas heating stove. Jonathan was friendly, efficient and quick to respond and gave us an amazing recommendation for a local cafe and homemade donut place. Wonderful location. Just birdsong and wind in the trees. Highly recommended !

We had a wonderful stay at Carla's place on Simon Lake! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Carla and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon!

We had a great stay at Natalia's. The cabin is very clean, well equipped, and only steps away from beautiful Lac La Hache. Besides the comfortable living and sleeping areas, there are fantastic outside and deck seating areas. We'd be happy to stay again and would certainly recommend to others.

Nicole is very helpful and very responsive. We even got a bottle of the welcome red wine! The place is very clean and the neighborhood is quiet during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again!

Great place! We had an amazing cabin time here! The area is so peaceful and beautiful, the kitchen has every you need! We also love the animals, they so cute and playful. Dog Amigo is such a star! I recently visited a charming lake resort with my boys, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled by a pristine lake, the resort was family-friendly, cozy, and authentic—not at all commercial. The natural surroundings were stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our activities. My kids absolutely loved kayaking on the calm waters and ending the day with bonfires and spooky stories under the stars. The cottages, crafted from beautiful logs, were well-maintained and added to the rustic charm. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.
