Vacation rentals with lake access in Caribbean

I had a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Check-in was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The location was perfect, with convenient access to everything I needed. One of the highlights was how comfortable and thoughtfully designed the space was. You can really tell the host cares about their guests’ comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This villa was even better than the photos depicted. Absolutely perfect in every way. Chalk Sound is a truly special place as are the nearby beaches (Sapodilla Bay, and a particular favorite was the very unique Taylor Bay Beach). A rental car for this location is a must, and the short trip to Grace Bay is very worth it (both the town and the beach). You can bring the beach chairs Terri provides or easily rent chairs and umbrellas there. Felt like a luxury hideaway, but with easy access to all of the hot spots around the island. Would give 6 stars if we could!

Loved our mini getaway at Sunrise Cottage! Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and it was so nice and clean when we arrived. Loved fishing from the dock and hanging out on the back patio. The grill was a plus too! Would definitely stay again. Aaron was a great host, very responsive and friendly and even left snacks and a bottle of wine chilling for us!

It’s hard to put into words what an amazing trip we had and how much this wonderful place contributed to that. It was quiet, private, and even had a private beach within walking distance. Everything you needed for cooking was in the kitchen, and the rooms are nicely separated for privacy. Our favorite part was Soldier, our island dog, who loved to walk us to the beach every day and was waiting for us when we woke up. The location of this place was great and that it is close to grocery shopping, the airport and some cute restaurants. We will definitely plan to visit again. Great place with great hosts!

Great host and home located in an LGBTQ+ friendly neighborhood, with lots of restaurants, bars, and the beach. Host was flexible in allowing late checkout and answered every question our group had in a timely fashion. The home was clean and well stocked. The pool was very warm with lots of privacy. Will definitely book again!

We had a blast staying at the Pyramid Village. really peaceful area to stay in unlike the clutter hotels and parking. you have 2 private parking spots right infront of the home and short easy access the front door. we plan to stay there again soon.

This one is special! I was blessed with choosing two amazing airbnbs in CR for our first trip. Started with this one for 3 nights. We arrived after a drive from SJO in the late afternoon and were too tired to do anything except grab dinner and go to sleep. Slept amazing! Very comfortable apartment. Next morning, woke up to shower and saw toucans right outside the window. That evening we did our first frog walk. SO MANY FROGS. And birds. And cool bugs. Anyara is a brilliant host and "safari guide". Her parents are the cutest. It felt like being home in Texas with my family looking at the wildlife I grew up with. That second evening, in the rain, Anyara found a momma and baby sloth in the canopy. Amazing to see! Third evening was even more adventure. I could frog-walk every night with her. The road is quiet and walkable and the sodas in the area are great (cheap!). La Fortuna is 35 mins drive. What a beautiful area. I'll be back soon to pick up where I left off...

Heather’s place is perfection. We explored the whole island and agreed—there’s nowhere else we would have rather stayed. Comfortable bed, dreamy hammock, perfect location. We used the beach gear and outdoor shower every day and walked to Black Flamingo coffee with the neighbor dogs each morning. I’d live here if I could! Alfonso was also incredibly kind and helpful with food and beach recs. Light sleeper note: Pack an eye mask and earplugs for the early-morning rooster roll call—it’s a thing across the island and not specific to this place.

Loved everything about this airbnb! It looks just liked the photos with perfect views off the balcony. The host herself was so helpful always quick to respond to messages and even gave us recommendations to visit. The place was close to so much we were able to walk along condado easily. Close to restaurants 5-10 min away. Ubers were easy to get. The place was clean and provided lots of amenities like water plates and shampoo/ Conditioner. I’d book the airbnb again 100%

My stay at Pat’s was truly one to remember. Me and my partner spent our one year anniversary in such a memorable way and I am glad that we chose our stay where we did. The condominium was greatly kept pristine along with having a communicative host that made my entire trip even more better. She provided us with all the essentials to have a very comfortable stay. Flexible on allowing an early check-in. Everything was exactly like pictures. Great location allowing us to walk to several locations as well as easy access to Uber. Great view from the balcony. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend and reserve again. Thank you! Michelle and I loved it and felt very safe. We had an awesome stay!!

Lovely apartment with amazing views and very comfortable furnishings. Excellent layout with a long inside hallway that separates the bedrooms from the entrance and living areas. Nice new washer dryer. Pleasant outdoor space. The apartment worked well for us and we will definitely return!!

This place is perfect! A true piece of paradise in southern Florida! My wife and I were looking to spend a relaxing, anniversary weekend, sitting back, with no agenda, just enjoying some privacy, surrounded by nature. We got exactly what we were looking for here. The property is beautiful! Trees, plants and flowers everywhere. Everything was maintained perfectly. We had a fire pit, tiki hut, hammocks, hot tub, kayaks, and the entire pool to ourselves while we were there. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting out on the boat dock in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the cool breeze and watching the wildlife. There is a TV in the tiki hut that you can watch while relaxing in the hot tub or sitting at the bar having a glass of wine. Inside you have plenty of everything that you need to feel like home while you're there. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you left anything behind. We highly recommend this place and will plan another visit for sure

absolutely loved it at the Crappie Cottage. enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and fishing off her peir. nice amenities and far enough from the city to enjoy the outdoors, super close to Kissimmee river. I will definitely be enjoying another staycation here!

My family and I had a spectacular weekend, the villa is beautiful and Johanny and Victor's services and attentions made our stay so special. Yes. We would definitely repeat the Experience, the house is very well-equipped. I suggest pruning the palms a little so that a little more sun enters the Pool, since the water gets very cold very early or, failing that, consider putting a heater in the water. We had to leave early. Thank you very much for everything

We had a wonderful stay. The place is more beautiful than the pictures depicted. Very peaceful and private. We swam in the pool every day. It was ideal for our toddler. Lots of animals and wildlife surrounding the cottage. Comfortable bedding. Full kitchen. Close to everything in town. Great value. Would stay here again.
