Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Carentan les Marais

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Ideal town center location near shops, restaurants and bars. Very large unit with room to spread out. One very large bath with shower on main floor. Another large bath with tub only on upper floor. Two bedrooms each floor. Upper floor only accessible by spiral staircase. Hosts were very helpful. Met us at arrival. Great visitor sheet including local recommendations. We tried two of those restaurants and both were excellent.

Vincent is a great host. He was very accommodating with our check-in time. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us how everything works. Very responsive to our inquiries. The apartment is less than a 2-minute walk from downtown Bayeux, spacious, and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

Very good stay in Carteret. We would have liked to have met Emmanuel when we arrived or before we left.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Superbly well located accommodation, close to all shops and restaurants but also historical sites in the region. It's even more spacious than we thought, and the views of the harbor and beach are exceptional. We are very satisfied with our week-long stay here!

The best thing about staying here was the reception from Dominique & his wife & the location. They gave us a great introduction to the history of the area, the house and his personal connection to the Normandy landings. This was a country stay with a mishmash of furniture - this is not one of those new IKEA style Airbnbs - it felt a very authentic. All the important things worked, including great WIFI. We slept well thanks to a comfy bed, nice bed linen and black out blinds, you have a kettle and a Nespresso machine & everything to make a simple meal - 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. They were very gracious is letting us use their washing machine & dryer in the garage. The apartment is at one end of the house - up a flight of stairs, where you find an open plan kitchen/dining/living room & pull out bed, TV shower room/toilet. Up more stairs is a huge bedroom, with a standard double & a single bed. We loved all the reading books translated into English. A memorable stay

Very nice place in the center of Caen. Everything within walking distance easy to do, for further destinations within Caen there is a tram station right in front of the door. All in all a very nice beautiful place to be if you want to visit the city of Caen.

We had a great time. The accommodation is in a perfect location for visiting the many landing sites. We were also able to enjoy delicious oysters just 15 minutes from the accommodation as well as the gourmet delights offered by Isigny sur Mer. The accommodation is very well equipped and very pleasant to stay in. There is a large amount of storage, dishes and cooking utensils suitable for the number of guests. The courtyard is very nice with the bocce court and the large expanse of grass. The location is quiet and peaceful. Thanks also for the little treat in the fridge. In short, we found everything we were looking for at Anaëlle's. We have already planned to come back with our friends to continue to enjoy all that this beautiful region has to offer.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

In the Normandy countryside, in close proximity to the sea and in the heart of the landing beaches, this fully renovated and impeccably clean accommodation deserves these 5 stars! The hosts are very attentive, special mention for the bottle of cider. We had a memorable stay there as a family, in memory of those who fell on this land.

Loved our stay. I highly recommend this accommodation which has everything you are looking for, it feels like home (everything is as in the photos). Great place for a weekend in Sciotot. The beach is just in front of the house. We can hear the waves from the living room. The accommodation is very clean, nice, renovated. Recommended.

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

Had a great time; booked a long weekend with friends, used raclette (the butcher is a good tip!) and sat in the conservatory in the evenings. With a short drive, you can reach the D-Day beaches or Mont Saint Michel. Had an evening power outage and the charming Celine was there within 15 minutes to fix it (with a technician). Super service and top location!

I loved this place ! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable -- especially the bed. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, including the train station. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The pickup spot for the bus tours to the Normandy beaches are just around the corner, as is the Tapestry Museum. The location is just perfect. There are some steep stairs getting up to the front door and within the apartment itself, so someone with mobility issues might have problems, but other than that, this apartment is a 10\10 for me !

The place was nice, very clean and comfortable. The only trouble was locating it, there were no pictures of the outside and building did not look like a private residence. The check in instructions were on the app so I didn’t know to look for an additional email. But some came right out to assist us

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We were very well hosted by Arnaud who we met in his garden. The environment is extremely quiet and relaxing. The very bright apartment, for 2 people, is very well appointed and insulated (sound and thermal). The bed is a sofa bed. The equipment is very complete including dryer and washing machine available. As a bonus, you're also dropping off Netflix. It's easy to park a vehicle. Sideville is located in the countryside and does not have a restaurant or bakery. You have to get around a short drive away. i highly recommend this host and listing. I will be back!! 😎

We are two Quebec couples who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thanks Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!

Beautiful apartment, quiet and very well-equipped. The location is ideal: 2 minutes from the beach without having to cross the road, and 10 minutes from the center of Julouville and shops. The big plus: the exteriors with the garden furniture and the courtyard where you can park cars. All surrounded by a fence that makes it so there are no neighbors. We did not meet Céline and Étienne but they are super responsive if we need anything and very accommodating. I think we'll go back
