Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Carefree

We’ve been to Arizona a lot but this stay set the bar really high. Doug and Karen’s home was just that - a place we could call home for our long vacation. They genuinely cared about our family and experience. Best in class on many fronts. Pride in ownership is definitely at the top of their list and they’re at the top of their game. There was plenty of room and the home wasn’t just show ready - it was photo ready. We are grateful for their hospitality and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return to Cave Creek.

We planned a family vacation over spring break 2025 and wanted to just relax and enjoy our time together. We picked this house for the backyard and it was everything we had hoped for. We had a group of 9 with young kids ages 2-10 and our parents and the whole group enjoyed their stay. We spent all day outback swimming, on the greens and enjoying games provided with the house. Tiffany was a great host answering any questions we had in a timely manner. We will definitely be back to the area in the future.

You don’t need to think twice or look any further-Zaw’s home is wonderful. Easy to find, clean, comfy beds, awesome pool, BBQ pit, great location that is peaceful and safe. My family of 3 had more than enough space. Teenager says 5 stars aren’t enough, and I agree. Zaw was the perfect host. ^_^

Beautiful setting to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Home was very accommodating and included all the necessities to keep our stay comfortable. Just the perfect place to unplug and reset. Kellie was very responsive to ANY need that came about.

We just stayed here over Memorial Day weekend, the house is just as the pictures describe. House has a nice secluded pool and is situated on a quiet street with close proximity to many restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed enteraining family that lives in the area and would stay again. I highly recommend. Curtis response time was amazing as well.

We didn’t want to leave! Gorgeous property and amazing hosts. The house has 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom so great for a couples getaway. Will absolutely be back.

Our stay at Janet’s place was the perfect location. The directions were easy to understand. I wasn’t sure what a split rail fence was but I figured it out easily. The house was spotless with a beautiful granite countertop in the breakfast room. The house felt like alone right when we walked in! The beds were super comfy and the rooms were very dark! I sleep so much better in a dark room. I slept so well both nights. Was it the bed that helped me sleep better or was it that we did so much in a couple days! I could have stayed a week or a month without being able to see and do everything we wanted to do! Guess we should plan another trip to Phoenix and if so, I hope to stay here at Janet’s. Thank you, Janet so much for allowing us to stay at your wonderful location. Thank you for sharing it with us. And thank you, too for being so helpful and accommodating by answering my questions. They were all much appreciated. I wish you well and I will reach out again when we come back!!

Excellent Location and open golf view. Townhouse was very light, bright, clean and modern. Mary was a receptive and helpful communicator and was very responsive. We loved our stay! We will Be back! Ty so very much! Marcia and Ralph

Jay was very responsive any time I had a question and was very proactive. Pictures of the unit are precise and I will be staying here again. Love the gym area as well. There is plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Great accommodations

Everything was awesome! The only thing that I would say is we had a really bad storm blow into our area and I couldn’t change my dates, which is stated in the Airbnb agreement. No personal relationship here. But on the other hand, we needed to book an extra day because of that storm, and they accommodated us nicely! And didn’t over charge us for the extra day. This is a time share resort so you don’t really deal with the person listed as the owner. Over all it was an awesome stay and I would go back in a heart beat!!

Awesome place to stay with lots of shopping in the area. The complex has multiple pools/hot tubs that are amazing for hot summer days.

Very restful, well set up, and comfortable stay during our trip to Phoenix. We loved how convenient it was for spending time at the pool, walking to pick up groceries, and walking along the greenway watching all the birds. Definitely recommend taking a stroll over the bridge for tacos at Okay Maguey's (so good we went 3x), checking out the Desert Botanical Gardens, and going to the Musical Instrument Museum. My favorite was lounging by the pool beside the blooming jasmine and hibiscus flowers under the clear blue sky! Anni was super friendly and helpful. Perfect little getaway spot for two :)

The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and cozy inside. The highlight of our stay was definitely swimming in the pool and the patio area. All in all, our stay felt relaxing and private. Would recommend Edith’s place!

Michaels place so nice! We didn’t even get to enjoy the back patio as our time there was short. But the place was really clean and spacious. We had to repack for our flight, and had plenty of space to spread out for that. The bed was comfortable. And Michael was very helpful on suggestions. We would stay again if in the area.

We stayed at this lovely condo for four nights, and we were 100% pleased with our stay. The unit was exactly as pictured and described with all the comforts of home. It was very clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub areas were lovely and quiet. Was nice to see the different types of vegetation throughout the complex. Quick drive/Waymo to some great restaurants and Old Town Scottsdale. Rene was a very pleasant and responsive host! We would not hesitate to recommend.

This space was clean and quiet. Our plans shifted before we got there and Trent was flexible for our check-in time and accommodated our other requests. Being able to do our laundry and cook sometimes was very convenient. I would stay here again.

Tancy was wonderful to communicate with. Gave me updates on amenities changing before check in and was flexible with when we checked in since our flight was at a weird time. Great stay!

Great place to stay! We enjoyed the pool and the location is a good distance from Old Town. Chris and Cynthia were very responsive and flexible.

Wonderful unit to stay in, great location close to shopping center and restaurants. Denise and William were extremely communicative and pleasant to deal with, would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!

Our stay was everything that we could have wanted and more! We loved everything about the villa down to the Employees, We will definitely be back to rent with you again! thank you so much for making our stay so worth it !

Truly a fun place in a HUGE executive style complex with a terrific gym, commons area and pool. Walkable to many restaurants, with many others within a 5-10 minute drive. Many nearby golf courses. Check in was a bit “involved”, but in retrospect not too bad. Just make sure you have the app open before you get into the parking garage b/c no cell service once you enter. The step by step instructions are very clear. Once in, it’s great. Walk in closets, bathrobes in each. Central TV, and one in each room. (Roku, so you can sign in to your own accounts if you like) Kitchen is clean. Nice to have a washer dryer as well. I was on a road trip, and it was a great way to re-stock clothes. The gym is next level good, and very well equipped with high level gear and weights. Pool area in the center of the complex seemed to be a fun meeting place. Would definitely stay here again.
