August Rose Cottage is a very special studio style private entrance apartment in our personal home. It is located off of a private driveway with only 3 homes facing the sound. It's a true peaceful oasis with sound front access and sunsets that will amaze you! Full service kitchenette and laundry room. We have done our best to make you feel at home in our beach cottage. It's sitting on 2 acres including a tidal pond that connects to Slash Creek and on into the Pamlico Sound. Great for kayaks and paddleboards. Home is 2 minutes to beach and close to restaurants, ferry dock, stores, and marinas. Watch beautiful sunsets from the deck.

We are a short walk to the beach (roughly 300 steps to the ocean), marinas, the island’s finest restaurants, shopping, and the ferry to Ocracoke. The apartment is a private portion of our home we look forward to sharing with our guests.
