Absolutely loved our stay at Hygge by the Sea. The location of the house was just a walk away from shops and food. Beach front access from the house was a plus and it was already stocked with beach chairs for us to use. House itself is very comfortable and clean. Great for a family with kids. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had the best weekend at this property! It was so clean, excellent location/ quick walk to the beach, and the host included so many thoughtful details to the space and our stay that made our trip wonderful. We will book again the next time we are in the OBX!

Amazing house, great location and everything that was promised. The house was easy to access and Josh was very responsive to any questions we had. The house was beautiful and clean. The outdoor area and pool were great for relaxing and enjoying the weather. Quick walk to the beach. Would love to stay here again next year. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was spotless and perfectly maintained. Everything was just as promised in the listing.

Joy's "Changing Tides" was exactly what my family needed for a little get away. The house was beautiful, the decor and furnishings were beachy and comfortable. Being able to walk right out on the beach was fantastic. All of our children loved playing in the ocean. Very convenient to Duck and restaurants, shopping, and of course ice cream. Joy was very responsive. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again!

The place was as described, a short walk to the beach and across the street from real watersports. The small grocery on the block was unexpectedly excellent.

Our stay at Skye’s the limit was amazing. The cottage was newly renovated and everything was in great condition and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the room with the bunk bed. The location was great and close to the beach with lots to do around.

Gia was an excellent host and her place was everything we hoped for and more. Some of the most beautiful ocean views in the area and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We’ve already recommended her to some of our closest friends…and now to you also!

Thank you for everything! The only problem we had was an outside deck blind blew down during the night, but it really didn’t affect the trip and didn’t look damaged..my mom left a note about it I believe…otherwise, great experience overall and would definitely recommend

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! We had a wonderful stay at Gia’s place. Place was exactly as described - very spacious home for our family of 10 to spread out. Ocean views from the second and 3rd floors. 5 minute walk to the beach - super convenient. Across the street from the Grocery Store - also very convenient. We didn’t have to use our vehicles at all. Would highly recommend, and would absolutely stay again!

This is our 2nd time staying at Tiffany’s lovely cottage and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Great location, very clean - such a wonderful little spot. We will be returning again 😊

I can't say enough positive things about Anthony or Diamond Shells. Beautiful beach front home. Do understand that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is quite sloped - this is the case for every single beachfront home due to the topography. The house was absolutely perfect, and so was Anthony. Very responsive host and answered all questions very promptly and graciously.

Our first time in the Outer Banks, and we are already planning a return trip in the fall. Nicely furnished, met our needs 100%. Immaculate, comfortable. Only complaint is the bed in primary bedroom is right above where the pillows are, and cold air blew directly on the person sleeping on the left side of the bed.

Some silverware and plates were dirty, other than that house/host was perfect. Had plenty of space, floor plan was well thought of and amenities were nice. Proximity to beach was top notch and pool/ hot tub were as well. Would definitely return or recommend! Host was responsive and friendly!

Our stay at Lynn's was absolutely wonderful! It has a nice curb appeal as soon as you arrive. This Villa had it's own private cozy screen porch surrounded by gardens of plants, flowers and paths throughout the area. It was very quiet. The Villa itself was clean and spacious and all of our needs were met by Lynn. Great location, the Villa was in walking distance to everything, with waterfront sunsets across the street Infront of the Castles entrance. The Pool/Spa area was close by and gave the feel of being on a Island. I would definitely book my vacation there again!!!

The name speaks true! It really is a beautiful hidden gem in Avon. From its ideal location to everything, to all the amenities the host provide. This location has been the best I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. It made my boyfriend’s birthday weekend and our friends loved it! David & Misty are truly wonderful hosts. Thank you again! 😊

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

We had a Wonderful stay in Hatteras at Wendy’s place. Right across the street from the ocean. Quiet neighborhood and all the locals are very friendly. Beds slept so comfortable! Would stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their thoughtfulness and hospitality truly stood out—everything from helpful local tips to the little touches around the house made us feel right at home. The location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, quiet, and private. We loved that the beaches were just a short walk away—perfect for morning strolls or relaxing evenings by the water. And the front porch had the most amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. The house itself was cozy and incredibly inviting. It had everything we needed and more. You can tell a lot of care and intention has gone into creating a space where guests can truly unwind. We’re already dreaming of our next trip back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a top-notch host!

Mark and Paul's place is beautiful. it is unfortunate that one of the properties across the road is in rough shape, but all other nearby properties are in excellent condition. The yard overlooking the canal is gorgeous. Do note that as with most properties in OBX, a flight of stairs is necessary to enter the house. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. We, unfortunately had rain, much of the time we were there, but did enjoy the exploring we could do. Absolutely recommend Sunrise Seafood, the fresh shrimp, crab cakes and swordfish were fabulous! Froggy Dog, ok, but not spectacular. We did enjoy Oceanas Bistro...especially the fresh tuna griller! Mark and Paul are not new to Air BNB and their attention to detail shows.

Our family had a great time visiting the outer banks and this beach home was the perfect getaway! Remote location which allowed a much needed relaxing trip. Quick walk or drive to the beach, beautiful views from the top roof deck and although quite a distance we did enjoy the drive up and down the coastline to visit other areas. This beach house was beautiful and had everything our family needed. You won’t be disappointed!
