Lake house vacation rentals in Canyon Lake

My friend and I visited to work on our creative projects-an artist residency for a long weekend. It was the perfect setting. The space was clean, spacious, and private. We loved cooking in the kitchen and working in the common area. The patio was perfect. I highly recommend the space.

Our family had a wonderful time at Patty and Craig’s red house and we can’t wait to visit again! The sunset view was absolutely stunning. Patty provided fantastic local recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable. It truly felt like a home away from home!

We had a fantastic stay at Brooke’s place in Wimberley, TX! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfect for our family getaway. Brooke was a thoughtful and responsive host, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The peaceful surroundings and charming touches made it feel like a true retreat. Highly Recommend!

We enjoyed at Niti’s place during our stay in canyon lake. House was clean and location of the house was excellent. Very relaxing and quiet place to stay.

We had a fantastic weekend at this house! The home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was working perfectly — air conditioning, hot water, electricity, all utilities were in great shape. What really stood out was how well-equipped the house is. Literally everything you can think of for a weekend near the lake is there. From practical touches like mosquito repellent placed by the picnic table, a hose to rinse your feet, to extra chairs and fun games to enjoy with family or friends — everything was thoughtfully arranged. Although the lake is currently at a low level due to dry season, we still had a great time. You can reach the lake on foot by a short trail (about 5 minutes from the house), or drive 5min to one of the nearby parks with easier access and more infrastructure. Tim, the host, was very responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed the house and would absolutely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay here and it's safe to say, it's going to become a tradition. My family looks forward to spending time in the home together than at the lake. and with my ever expanding family, there's plenty of room here. Bridgette does a wonderful job of making sure we feel at home. There are a lot of extras provided you dont think about until you get there. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, BBQ utensils, plates and silverware. Theres corn hole, an outdoor sound system, a fire pit, rocking chairs.Theres plenty of linens, blankets and pillows for all and all very clean. I can go on and on. Basically, you can arrive and unpack in minutes and be ready to enjoy the place. And if you need anything, Bridgette is very responsive and ready to remedy the situation.

My friends and I do a river trip every year and decided to stay a little further so we could have more privacy. We had a blast, so many memories were made! See you next year Marilyn!😇

The Bluebonnet House was very unique, we loved it! It was so quiet and peaceful and we loved having so many board games to play! Great place to stay!

Beautiful home with impeccable decoration. Place was excatly as described. Elizabeth and Henry were very receptive. Very clear communication. Unfortunately we had two things that could have made things better. Washer had some technical issue and we couldn't use it. Gas Grill was very drity, we couldn't use it. We had prepared many things to cook over Grill but have to use oven instead. Hope small things could be fixed. Thank you Srini

We enjoyed our stay here. The washing machine was pretty moldy, but the host immediately sent someone to clean it. Just as advertised, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!

Like a really nice hotel. Everything was spotless and well staged throughout the house without a lot of clutter to move to be able to settle in in the bedrooms and bathrooms quickly. Comfortable furniture and bedding was a big plus.

The place was overall great, just what we needed for our short stay for the river, the host provided simple essentials that seem to not make it on a packing list which was so helpful! However for the clean review it didn’t feel very clean. There was noticeable stains on counters or on the dishes provided. I would pull out a dish and it felt grimy and had particles in it. I didn’t mind re-washing. However the water didn’t make anything feel clean. The water was slimy and had a texture, same with the all water outlets. Although with these things the host was quick to provide check in and check out details which was helpful. The host was very kind in messages, we enjoyed our stay!

The location was in a great area and was extremely clean upon checking in. The house is a very short walk from the water and had a very nice view that we enjoyed. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here while we were having some warranty repairs on our home- Bera was very welcoming and helpful, quick to communicate, and the house was perfect for us: clean, well stocked and cozy! Bera went above and beyond and we truly appreciate everything she did! Highly recommend!!

Without a doubt the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in as far as living up to the description. You can really tell they have thought of everything for their guests and little details really went a long way here. It said that we could have seen deer and they might let us feed them. As soon as we got there they were at the fence! The property is beautiful and relaxing and the deer were there the whole time. They really do eat out of your hands! I can't say enough great things about this place. 10/10 recommend!

The casita and property were beautiful and peaceful. It was well stocked and clean. Perfect for our getaway and close enough to everything to not have to go far for necessities. The host's were amazing and so helpful with any questions we had.

We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful lakefront oasis. It was everything we needed for a restful, healing vacation. The bedrooms were perfect, super cozy and inviting. The primary bathroom was especially relaxing, with large windows that looked out into nature. We also loved watching the wildlife; we spotted foxes, deer, wild turkeys, beautiful birds, and even some livestock across the lake. The whole setting felt like a nature retreat. This home was truly a breath of fresh air, elegant, tranquil, and exactly what we were hoping for. We can’t wait to come back and will very soon!

It’s our second year staying here on our annual float trip, we love the big comfortable couch for hanging out after a long day on the water.

We loved our stay! Michelle was a great host! Very responsive and very nice. The house had plenty of space for 5 and was comfortable and clean. It was fun for the family to use the ping pong table during down time when we were home resting from all the fun things to do in the area and the great restaurants. We highly recommend staying at this location as it is conveniently close to tubing, a lake, Gruene, New Braunfels, San Marcus, Wimberly, and Blanco! There are several swimming holes close by as well. A great relaxing family getaway location! We will definitely go back and would stay at this house again! Thank you, Michelle for being a great host!

Nice, clean and private. Great big windows in the front of the house, We requested window shades for privacy at night, completed, and very responsive. There was a minor issue with the heating, fixed, very responsive! There was a small issue with the dryer, fixed, very responsive! The deer 🦌 were our special guests, they visited us every morning and throughout the day until sunset. The area has septic systems therefore we suggest drinking bottled water. The east window has a great view of the sunrise! Ample space for a family with kids with the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Cable service was great, never had dropping problems. Very close to restaurants and retail stores. Unfortunately, due to the drought they have been experiencing for the last couple of years, we were unable to enjoy any water activities in the Canyon Lake. There is no water activity at all. The house was in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the hottub, community swimming pool, proximity to Gruene, and the peaceful neighborhood. Will definitely go back soon.

Stayed here for my birthday with a group of 16 and it was exactly what we needed. The house was super spacious, clean, and had everything set up for us—extra towels, kitchen stuff, plenty of beds and bathrooms… it was all ready when we walked in. We didn’t even need to reach out to the host because everything was already taken care of, which made things stress-free and smooth from the start. The space was perfect for hanging out, getting ready together, and just having a good time all weekend. If you’re planning a birthday trip or a group getaway, this place is solid. Would definitely book again!
