Cottage vacation rentals in Canyon Lake

We had a great time, Tom was quick to respond when we were booking, the place was great, brought our dogs and had a really nice time. Right on the water and we had fun fishing from the lower level of the yard. Great outdoor grill and dinning area. Would stay again. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

We had a fabulous time at the lake! The house is super cute and great for a group of fiends or family. We have stayed there two times and plan to return again soon!

Peggy and her bungalow were wonderful! She was a friendly and great communicator. Let us have super early check in. The place itself was so perfect and charming. They even left us a sweet personalized note on a pegboard sign! 10/10!

Beautiful home right on the river! Water level was perfect for our small children while we were there. Half bath & laundry area near side entry was perfect for drying off from the river. Home was comfortable, slept well, and was surprisingly larger than shown in photos. There are a couple of doors that can be closed when kids are playing & watching TV in one living room, creating a more quiet space in the other living room. There are wonderful views of the river from the upstairs windows. The tree line along the river created privacy from the road. We felt like we had our own private oasis on the river! We had a great stay. Loved the view of the area. Got to see lots of deer. Located close to lots of amenities which we loved. Will definitely be coming back.

It’s like staying at grandmas lake house. Gorgeous location. I could’ve stayed forever waking up to the amazing backyard. The owners take impeccable care of the yard. We had a great time fishing and barbecuing.

Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The setting was peaceful and private—perfect for unwinding. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. We especially loved JPS Wimberley BBQ—it was delicious! And spending time at the river was truly amazing. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very beautiful area, it was always quiet and peaceful you really only hear the birds. Everything was clean and very cute interior, very homey.

This is a great spot for large groups that don’t want to stay under the same roof. The area is beautiful and well kept. Perfect for families and kids or adults wanting to relive sleep away camp. The fenced in dog park is perfect for the fur babies. We will absolutely be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bungalow on the Square in Wimberley. We visit the area several times a year, but this was our first time staying right on the square—and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Your home is beautiful, warm, and perfectly located for everything we enjoy about Wimberley. Everything was perfect. Honestly I think it may be too soon for me to write a review… it’s only been a few hours since I left the place and I may be going through withdrawal. I absolutely LOVE the vibe of this place. So quiet… yet so close to some amazing hill country adventures. Really can’t think of a more perfect place to base camp or perhaps just to get some peace and quiet for a few days and get your creative juices flowing… write, compose, paint… whatever it is you do I am sure that you’d love doing it here. The cottage is so quiet and peaceful! The location was a great place for day trips to Fredericksburg, Wimberly, and Blanco of course. Melinda was very responsive when the internet went down (due to a provider not within her control) and let us use her hot spot on her ipad to watch movies! We did not have a pet, but the yard is nicely fenced for a pet which is a great benefit. You MUST read the cottage information book that provides the very interesting history of the cottage and renovation. Great Place!

Such an amazing little gem tucked in the woods! My favorite part was that there were so many deer hanging around the area and it was so peaceful and serene. The lights that turn on at night outside make it seem like a place out of a movie scene. Very responsive and thoughtful hosts!

Luc is a very responsive and friendly host, even promptly answering messages sent extremely early in the morning. The home is very comfortable, spacious, and clean with a well appointed kitchen and rooms. The location is very private and peaceful with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and still close enough to restaurants and all that Austin has to offer.

The cottage is just steps away from the river, which makes for a perfect morning walk and evening to unwind. The Jacuzzi bathtub is relaxing. We had a good time fishing.

My mother and I stayed overnight to attend a nearby concert. The place is gorgeous, you really CAN see for miles and miles! The bed was very comfortable. The house was well appointed. Both Kathy and Wayne were very responsive via text, call, and in person. I would definitely recommend and would stay at their property again the next time I'm in Dripping Springs!

We enjoyed staying in the cute little tiny house, perfect for two adults and our dog, we love that this place was dog friendly and so close to Pedernales Falls State Park! Our hosts were super friendly and attentive! We would definitely stay again!
