Fantastic spot. Loved the record setup, the comfortable bed, the back porch, and the creek. The picnic table and grill were nice touches, as well as the string lights. The hottub was clean and the shower was nice. Very relaxing spot!

Great location and space!

Fantastic getaway in the mountains, next to a babbling brook, with everything you could want. Just a quick trip down to the village but far enough away that it was super quiet. I'd been dreaming of an A frame with giant windows and a patio overlooking the trees and this was exactly it. That, plus the bonus of a cozy place to watch movies and hang out inside. It was my first trip to Idyllwild and I hope to come back again to stay here.

We had an amazing stay in Idyllwild with our family! The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and close to everything we needed. The home was super clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a definite highlight after long days of exploring. We celebrated both my wife’s and my son’s birthdays during our stay, and it truly felt magical. The space made it all extra special. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful cabin recommend to anyone who is in the Big bear area. Cabin is near all restaurants and ski resorts. Took my father and mother in law out for the weekend and felt right at home in the cabin. Beautiful place recommend this to anyone, access to the cabin was easy and host reposted quickly when had questions.

John’s place was amazing. We had 3 generations attending a wedding in the area and the house accommodated us perfectly. Our 87 year old was able to navigate the one-story home and grounds with ease. And the sitting room within the master suite was a perfect space to set up the bedding for our 3 year old grandchild. The house is well equipped with necessities, all in good repair, and extremely comfortable for our family of 7 adults and 1 child. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was large and clean. Gorgeous view of the vineyard and tranquil environment. Our host was very responsive to every question and request. He took extremely good care of us. I will recommend this home to our friends and family, and will return with our family again. Loved it!

We had a peaceful and cozy stay at this cabin in Big Bear. The space was well-stocked with the basic amenities and even a few extras, and we really appreciated the clear and thoughtful instructions provided by the host. It made everything easy and stress-free. One thing to note: the walkway up to the cabin is definitely a workout. It's a bit of a climb, so I wouldn't recommend it for small children or elderly guests, especially if you're bringing a lot of stuff. Thankfully, we packed light and managed just fine. As with any mountain retreat, you should be okay with a few critters. We found a couple of bees inside when we arrived, but Dena had some tape available to help trap them. There were also spider webs on the outdoor furniture, so be sure to check before sitting down. On our last morning, we noticed quite a few ants in the shower…but again, it's the mountains, and that kind of comes with the territory. Overall we had a great time and it’s a beautiful location!

We stayed at The Mountain House over a weekend, and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the house and the whole farm is so serene and peaceful. My daughter loved the animals (especially the goats) and if she had it her way, she would stay there full time. The chickens gave us lots of fresh eggs everyday. Also, I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes that is offered as it really adds to the experience. We took the cheese making one and came home not just with knowledge of how to make delicious cheese, but also lots of cheese for us to enjoy.

Chris’ place was exactly as described! Perfect size for my 2 family members and I. The area is super peaceful and it was nice to enjoy the weather on the front patio. Would definitely recommend this stay and would love to go again.

Whitney’s cabin was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The home was clean and had all the amenities listed. We enjoyed the popcorn and board games. The view is amazing. It was very dog friendly and even had bowls and treats available for my pup.

I booked Jenna’s beautiful home for my wedding weekend, and it was truly perfect. My bridesmaids and I arrived after the rehearsal dinner, spent the next morning getting ready there, and my husband and I stayed in the Airbnb on our wedding night. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home was warm, spotless, and absolutely stunning. Even my photographer and videographer couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous it was for our getting ready photos. This home is truly a must-stay! Jenna was incredibly responsive and such a wonderful host. I can’t say enough good things!

Great place and location, even better than looks and described online. A lot of nice touches to make it "cozy" and welcoming. The birds in yard are wonderful to hear especially in the morning. I will definitely stay again in future.

The cottage was so peaceful and cozy! Very clean and a wonderful fenced in backyard for the dog to enjoy. Sherry was a great host and gave excellent instructions and was very responsive. There were notes through the house about how lamps, fans, appliances etc worked and a guide book as well. We were there for a wedding at Serendipity Gardens and the location was perfect (just ten minutes away!). The ring bearer was the couple’s German shepherd and I was in charge of taking care of him for the festivities and he loved having the cottage to relax in in peace after all the wedding excitement and crowds. It was exactly what he needed. Would 1000% recommend for anyone visiting the area or anyone going to a wedding at Serendipity Gardens

We had a great stay at the Lazy Gnome. The place was very clean and well decorated and furnished. My kids loved going up to the loft but beware that the steps/ladder are quite steep, though they had no issues using them. The neighborhood is nice and quite, the house is under many trees so has plenty of shade, and it's just a short drive to the main town area. We will absolutely consider staying here again next time we come to Idyllwild.

We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very peaceful. It was wonderful to find a place that had a fenced in yard for the pups to run around. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for sharing!

Susan’s place was amazing. My granddaughters loved the pool and the hot tub. Susan got new pool toys to make easy entertaining my grandkids. Horses, dog and cat are so friendly. Susan also provide some fruit for us which was super generous of her. I’ll comeback and stay at her property for sure. Is a rustic house not q modern place which is what I was looking for but comfortable enough for us. We really had a great time. Thank you very much Susan!!

Very clean, cute decor, comfortable and spacious (for our family of 5people), has a lot of ample amenities even for kids! Clubhouse, pool & jacuzzi access. Securities at the gate were friendly and the Neighbors mostly seem don't mind having Air BnB guests in a gated community. Walking to Waldorf hotel took about 10m, beach about 20m. But the restaurants and stores were in short driving distance. We really enjoyed this spot. Thank you!

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriends for my birthday and we had the best time! The house is soooo homey and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with bagels & snacks and a “happy birthday” sign. Pool and hot tub were great. Perfect relaxing outdoor area. So peaceful. Such a lovely home! Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful space! It almost seems like you’re transported somewhere else, even another time. It was all great! And being one who usually avoids host interactions, Margarita and her husband couldn’t have been more welcoming. 10/10 would reco!

Prime location for anyone competing in the Big Bear Spartan. It was peaceful leading up to the weekend, allowing restful sleep and relaxation. I was able to register for the race early in the morning and head back to the house to prepare and stretch comfortably before the race. It was nice coming right back to the house to unwind and recover, especially with the convenience of the hot tub! Totally played a part in minimizing soreness. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and hiking trails. The scenery was beautiful and something I will never forget! It was a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay there again if I am in Big Bear. I can only imagine how awesome this place is during the ski season!

The guest house on Kris’s plot was as advertised and just what we needed for our stay in North County SD. Thanks for the wonderful time! My kids had a particularly good time.
