Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

We are a 2 minute drive from the Trans Canada Highway, making it convenient as an overnight stop between Vancouver and Calgary. FREE off road parking for 2 vehicles! There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom, with comfortable duvet. The sitting room has a brand new (double) sofa bed. WIFI and lots of TV channels for your viewing pleasure. 15 minute walk to the local pub / groceries / recreation centre. For larger groups, we have a second bnb in the basement. Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Our stay at the mini solar cabin was amazing! beautiful property, outdoor shower was amazing, and was only 5 mins from Mara Lake Provincial Park. Definitely an incredible space and Chantal makes it feel very welcoming!

Amazing place! Right at the beach so you can do some water sports if you’d like, there are also some nice hikes around and a quick walk to the waterfall The fenced backyard is a huge plus! Highly recommend! Very responsive, exactly as described and super close walk to downtown and playgrounds. Very clean, stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, plenty of linens, and very comfortable suite. We liked it so much that we have booked to stay there again on our return trip home.
