Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Caniço

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean with fantastic views. Phil was very helpful and responsive when we had any questions. We even had a last minute, unforeseen, change of plans while we were there and he was still very accommodating to our needs. We had rented a car for our stay and found that the apartment was conveniently located as a hub for all of our day trips. There was a grocery store a short drive away and restaurants in the area. The beach at the bottom of the hill was nice (rocky, not sandy) and had some of the clearest water we saw on the island. It was the first time we had been to Madeira and it was everything we had hoped for.

Amazing views. Nice space, António is very helpful, provides good recommendations and is very responsive.

Logement idéalement situé pour aller randonner à la pointe de san Lourenço, l’environnement est très calme. On peut aller en ville à pied . L’appartement est propre et bien équipé. Le matelas et les oreillers sont très durs !

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Isabel is een super lieve gastvrouw. Ze is erg behulpzaam. Appartement is ook erg fijn, 2 schone slaapkamers , badkamer is in orde, heel fijn. Het fijn dat het appartement een eigen parkeerplaats heeft. Het is wel even opletten met binnen rijden omdat je een klein stukje omhoog moet, maar heel Madeira is heuvelachtig 😂

We loved the apartment and the location. An easy to walk to the old town . It was clean and Filipe was there to greet us when we arrived. We felt well taken care of. It’s a small thing, but we appreciated having enough paper products for our stay. And thank you for all the delicious fruit you provided!

We are a family of 4 traveling from the US and this house was beautiful and well cared for. We loved the area- walking distance to the beach- grocery and restaurants. The view and the outside space were amazing. The house was incredibly equipped and Nuno was a welcome host. We hope to be back!!

We had a great stay at Ricardo’s house! The view and house are amazing. To make pickup with Bolt easier we would walk up the hill to where rua Engenheiro Luís Peter Clode and rua da Levada de St. Luzia meet, it seemed easier for drivers to find. Also the gate and entry to the house is on rua Engenheiro Luís Peter Clode if your map is having a hard time. There is only a washer and not a dryer. But there are drying racks. The front door will auto lock when it shuts, so if you go on the upstairs patio make sure another door is unlocked or you wedge the door! Those are things that could have helped us, but the stay was great! We enjoyed the views, and the open space! We found the location fine! Bolt was very easy to take back and forth to downtown Funchal and close villages and airport. Would recommend!

Bonjour, José est un hôte accueillant son logement est très propre et confortable. Nous somme arrivé de la nuit et nous avons eu droit à des sandwichs avec un gâteau, quelques œufs des fruits et légumes ainsi que du lait au frais. Ce fut agréable de séjourné dans ce logement. 😊

I can't express how beautiful and peaceful this place was. It was worth every penny, you don't have to worry about anything. Everything is so well equipped, so clean, swimming pool with amazing views to Funchal. I come to Madeira every summer and it was at its best. I had my parents first time here and they absolutely loved it too. Maria was very kind and helpful from the time we booked the place. Hopefully to come back soon again.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Die Unterkunft ist super. Der Blick vom Balkon ist wahnsinnig schön. Carlos ist gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Insgesamt hatten wir einen perfekten Aufenthalt im Apartment und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit der traumhaften Aussicht- beim Frühstück und Abendessen haben wir die Aussicht sehr genossen! Leider ist die nahe gelegene Hauptstraße lauter als erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, besonders die Waschmaschine haben wir sehr gerne bei unserem längeren Aufenthalt genutzt, in der Küche lässt es sich auch etwas ausgiebiger kochen. Die Wohnung ist ansprechend eingerichtet, an manchen Stellen jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb der Stadt, man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen haben, jedoch erreicht man somit einige tolle Wanderungausgangspunkte mit dem Auto etwas zügiger.

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement propre et décoré avec goût. Un petit plus pour la place de parking au garage. Connie était là à notre arrivée et nous la remercions pour sa gentillesse. We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader! Appartement impeccable, très propre et conforme à la description. La terrasse est tout simplement grandiose, avec une vue magnifique. Tout est bien aménagé, on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour – un vrai plaisir du début à la fin!
