Vacation rentals with a patio in Caniçal

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. We were welcomed immediately very friendly by Connie, who gave us great tips for the restaurants in the neighborhood and some fresh vegetables from the garden. Connie and Johnny are always available for any questions, yet you have total privacy. The view is amazing, day and night. All furniture is from the highest quality, fully equipped kitchen, a perfect bed and an awesome bath. Worth every cent, just book it and you will have a dream vacation!

We stayed here for 9 nights as a couple and were absolutely thrilled. Communication was excellent, even before the booking – friendly, smooth, and very helpful, which gave us a great feeling right from the start. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with high-quality amenities – nothing was missing. A real highlight were the balconies and the stunning rooftop terrace – perfect for relaxing! We were also able to use the parking space after arranging it in advance, which was very convenient. Grocery stores and great restaurants are within walking distance – the location is ideal. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Everything was great during our stay! The apartment was new, clean, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The location was very convenient—close to a supermarket and with easy access to the highway. The parking space was also a big plus. Would definitely recommend!

This place is a real hit! The location is perfect – everything you need is in the immediate vicinity, and at the same time you can really relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking – every day you can admire the beautiful landscapes that take your breath away. The interior is very well maintained, clean and well equipped – I did not miss anything during my stay. The owner took care of every detail, so you can feel at home. A big plus is that despite the planes flying nearby, they do not interfere with the rest – on the contrary, they add a unique atmosphere to this place. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort, beautiful views and a great location! I'll definitely be back.

Christopher and Anna are great hosts: welcoming, helpful and attentive to their guests. We did not lack anything during our ten-day stay. The accommodation is in a quiet location. It is clean and very well equipped. I would recommend this place for a stay in Madeira!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

We really enjoyed the warm welcome. We ate several vegetables from the garden picked by the owner. The kitchen was well-equipped except that there was no coffee maker. The beds were comfortable. We were in a good location for hiking.

Great host, very quick to respond. Great accommodation, very clean and tidy and so nice to have the pool. Very hilly, nice walk down into town but would recommend getting an uber or bolt back to the apartment. It’s only 5 minutes and €5 for the trip.

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Jorge was helpful, responsive, service-oriented, and this visit was a great fit for our family of four + mother-in-law. One baby and one toddler, no problem. We also received seamless help with our car rental.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

Accommodation as described, well-equipped and very conveniently located for discovering Funchal. Super convenient garage for parking a vehicle. Carla is very responsive, very friendly and gives good tips. I would recommend it!

Everything was great. Very friendly and a very nice apartment.

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.
