The Great Pigeonry

Chateau Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the river Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sun flower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt water swimming pool . The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the Lot river. You will stay in an old watermill within walking distance of a picturesque medieval town. Relax in a deck chair on a private beach by the river. There is a 1 or 2 person modern unsinkable sit on top kayak with which you can paddle down the beautiful river.

The Moulin de Flaujague is an authentic 17th century water mill for its central part. Later, an industrial tower was added. It is located between 2 arms of the Bassanne and has its own small lock and a small waterfall behind the bread oven. Once through the gate you are on an island surrounded by water.
