Boat vacation rentals in Canada

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

We 4 friends stay in Yacht for 2 nights. It’s great experience. Ian (host) is nice person, helpful, cooperative and honest man. Will visit again soon. Thanks

Thomas and Cynthia are amazing hosts. We spent 2 nights on the boat and had an amazing time. The house and the boat are on such a unique location right next to the ship wrecks. We spent a lot of time on the water rowing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Our kid also had so much fun on the floating trampoline. Waking up to the sunrise and watching the wrecks as the first rays of sunlight hit the water was the highlight of our stay. Special thanks to Cynthia for showing us around and answering all our questions. Their dogs Bear and Abby are so cute 🥰 Hope to visit again in the future ❤️

We loved our stay at the Knockmore cottage. So peaceful and beautiful surroundings! We even enjoyed a swim in the pond in May ! Baddeck is only 10 minutes away and offers some great restaurants. We came for the Cabot trail relay run, and it was close to the start and finish. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space.

cheryl met me at the docks and drove out to the location of the boat. what a beautiful area and right beside the lighthouse with unbelievable sunsets on top of the rocks. looking forward to a return visit.

This is my second time staying on a boat within the AirBnB universe, and again, it was awesome! We loved the friendly folks at the marina, the boat was super cozy and beautifully decorated, everything was safe and comfortable, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Tara's instructions were super helpful, and we were able to enjoy our sleepover onboard. Can't wait to go back -- thank you for everything!

This was an incredible place! Thomas and Cynthia were the best hosts - so warm and welcoming, lending us tomato ketchup for the bbq and taking us on a very memorable evening boat trip for ice cream which was so special and live in our memories for a long time. Also brilliant to have kayaks, paddle boards plus wetsuits and snorkel kit available, so much fun playing with these in the harbour! Boat was a fun experience and waking up in the peaceful harbour at sunrise was utterly magical! Wish we’d had longer there in fact, we so enjoyed everything! Thank you so much!

We had a great stay aboard Bob’s Yer Uncle! Very well organized and well stocked with all the necessities, and super clear instructions on getting into the marina and marina washrooms/showers - which we used instead of the boat shower. Would recommend visitors bring their own water for drinking. We’re hoping to book again the next time we’re in St. Catharines!

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

Tolle Idee, eine 40 Jahre alte und sehr liebevoll erhaltene Jacht als Unterkunft anzubieten! Die alte Holzeinrichtung hat unheimlich viel Charme und der eingebaute halbautomatische Dosenöffner von Black&Decker war der Hit! Er funktioniert! Der Blick von Deck hinüber nach Halifax ist einzigartig. Nachts/morgens etwas Rangierlärm vom benachbarten Bahnhof, sonst sehr ruhig im kleinen Jachthafen. Die nahe Fähre stört nicht. Sehr netter Gastgeber und unkompliziertes checkin/out. Sehr zu empfehlen!

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we've had in our 11 years using this platform. As much as I want to gatekeep this, it's not fair to Graham. Do you like nature, and learning a new skill, and adventure packaged in with someone who is incredibly hospitable, and knowledgable, and puts safety first? Do you want to catch crabs and spot prawns, and go kayaking, and drive a tender and sail a sail boat, and go swimming and visit cute coastal communities, while someone cooks you a meal 3 times a day? I don't even know where to start or end. This trip forever changed us. Graham, thank you for being an incredible host, teacher, and reminding me what leadership truly looks like. Thank you for putting your trust in strangers and encouraging us to learn and take the wheel.
