Nestled in the woods, accessible year round. Very private & quiet. No hunting on this property but enjoy great fishing. Pizza & burger take-out just 10 min away. Lots of water close by for kayaking/canoeing. ATV trails just a few km away. Firewood supplied. Please bring your own drinking / wash water. Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing.

The Burrow is a cozy hill-side cottage. This unique earth-bermed cottage is built right into the hillside - with round doors and windows. Private fenced yard with a cedar hot tub, BBQ, firepit, and seating. Inside the cottage is spacious but cozy - 650 sq ft of living space. There are 5 rooms,: a long entrance hallway, a bedroom, a sitting room (with a fireplace), a kitchen, and a bathroom. There are 2 queen-sized beds and a single roll-in bed. Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable.
