A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

Had a great stay. Comfy beds, aircon, hot shower. Everything as described and very clean. Walkable to a great coffee place and the college, which we were looking for. Felt like home away from home.

I enjoyed my stay at Sarah’s place. The home was clean, cozy, and peaceful. My lease ended on May 31st, but as a teacher, I had to work until June 6th, and my 1st and 2nd graders were still in school until June 5th, so we needed a temporary place to stay. At first, I was a little skeptical because I didn’t realize the rental was connected to her home, and with three kids, I was worried about space and privacy. But everything worked out smoothly. She even had toys available, which the kids loved. Overall, we had a great stay. I recommend booking with Sarah if you need a place in Lynchburg, VA. Thank you, Sarah. I wish you many blessings!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

This Airbnb was perfect. The space was large with such a beautiful view off the patio. The host was over the top wonderful! Don’t miss out on this stay.

This was our second time staying here as we love the views! We enjoyed a morning walk in the neighborhood and being able to sit on the patio taking in the peaceful setting. Susan is hospitable to provide a welcome treat and help us with local recommendations. We would happily plan to stay here for future trips to the area!

This was a great location and place for the value! Responsive host and communicated very well. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and very clean. Beds super comfy! Kitchen is a great size and well-equipped.

We had a wonderful time staying there! We went to VA for out 1 yr. Wedding anniversary. I have stayed at numerous Air BNB over the years and her place is one of my favorites! The bed was very comfortable which is hard to find with some places. Dianne and her husband were so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. She was so sweet that the day we went to leave she made a beautiful bouquet from flowers she took from her garden as an anniversary gift and it was waiting for us outside the door. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave. Look fwd. to staying again sometime in the future.

Great place to stay! Beautiful house and gorgeous neighborhood. Outdoor pool & pool area were amazing and useful. Inside, all the games and ping pong table were fun too. Helped draw our LU son & friends to come “hang out” with us! Big basement apartment with lots of room. As it states in the listing, there is no kitchen, but they did supply bottles of water, a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and other kitchen essentials. Big kitchen table and snacks left for us when we arrived. Hosts Jon & Irma were extremely helpful, responsive, and supportive (especially when I checked-in for the wrong date). They also left a wonderful surprise for my graduating son- a lovely card and thoughtful gifts for him. Such thoughtful gestures. Great place to stay.

Wonderful Airbnb. Very unique and beautiful! The location is very central and easy to get anywhere in downtown Appomattox on foot. Easy check in process and very nice hosts. Was perfect for the quick stay we had in Appomattox only note is the train goes right past the Airbnb. Very cool experience and what we expected but was occasionally loud if one went by. 5 stars!

This little apartment was perfect for our trip to the Lynchburg area! Eric was very responsive and helpful and we felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

Good host checking on us making sure everything was good. Have to say this Airbnb was one of the most interesting I've stayed at. If you love motorcycles and Harley Davidson you'll love this place. Like a mini memorabilia museum of stuff you can tell a lot of work and passion went into this. Good location for visiting Liberty University, plenty of restaurants right down the road.

We only stayed one night, however it was everything we needed for our short stay. The communication with Lori was amazing! She is very personable and friendly. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac. There was plenty of room for parking and it was very private. We know where we are staying if we ever travel to the area again.

Great place! I felt right at home when staying there. Only thing is that I heard loud footsteps almost everyday that were very loud. Other than that I’d for sure stay there again!
